i did not know until this post that Paul Harvey Died,. (90 years old???) i spent my youth listening to paul harvey in The Dalles, Oregon on the A/M Radio... i was only 13 when i started working (i was Big) in a truck tire retread plant (we needed the money)and every day after we put in the first load of tires in to Cure (cook) we would eat our lunch and listen to paul tell the Best story's...and then there would be a commercial break (for ACE HARDWARE)then- THE REST OF THE STORY ! My late brother and I would listen to Mr. Harvey every day. We would schedule our breaks, and lunches on his broadcasts. What an incredible story teller our lunch dessert was listening to the rest of the story on radio. He used pausing while speaking to get you into the story something that is not allowed in dialog but when you have a monolog and the confidence to pull it off you make a story a masterpiece as many of his lessons were.
