It does. The rubber "grip" actually gives you much better contact on the ball. I mean it doesnt shoot for you but it helps alot. As opposed to the vapor which is light and made of plastic. When a boot is too light it makes your shot go out of control. You have to adjust your shooting technique to be able to shoot with vapors. The shooting shield helps alot.
