On a side note, the scene when his mother asks him why he's gay? Totally wasn't expecting that, so I heard carefully to what they said. I can't say if the subject was well or badly handled since I'm a straight girl and I only have one gay friend who, fortunately, didn't have any trouble with his family. Would anyone comment on this, please. I thought it was a strong scene (in a good way, I mean, that it was well portrayed), but then again, I can't really know.

A couple of other movies that are great to watch is A Beautiful Thing ,with a great musical score. The other is Shelter non muscial but a nice film to watch.
