  • I love Anderson Cooper sooo much!!!

  • She needs to team up w/ Shakira.

  • @deecee10000 no i'm Somali!

  • @maryana4k Good for you! I hope the people of Somalia one day find peace and justice. I wish there were more people like Iman and Bono in the world.

  • @Dhegdheer1 you talked about people being discriminated against, i dont think thats something to be proud of and i think that painting all arabs with the same brush just because you came across a few bad ones is really ignorant. there are people, arabs, africans, europeans who have donated their time and money to help alleviate the situation in somalia. i'm not a racist, there are good and bad in everyone. anyway i'm done replying to you, i guess there are a lot of ignorant somalis sadly.

  • this is heartbreaking :(

omggggg ppl need to help!! NOW!!! im trying to convince my mom into maybe adopting atleast one of the orphind children....ppl need to step up! ive been participating in a local food bank for nearly every one of my weekedns to help these poor kids and adultes over at somalia...shame on the ppl who know about this and dont do a thing, Allah made us all different but we need to reuinite in times of need!

  • iman is a passionate woman understandably about her home country however, why is she making out that she came from a poor family when I thought her father was a diplomat and she went to a private school?

  • @dlfunky1 Maybe you should call her up and ask her. For a quick bio / history of this extraordinary human being, please look up Iman (model) at Wikipedia.

  • @deecee10000 I've already watched and read many interviews of Iman -it was a rhetorical question as I already know the answer -so no wiki nessasary!

  • @dlfunky1 Her family was poor until her father was made the Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

  • @eaglefeatherheart no her family BECAME poor when they had to flee somalia for kenya after the civil war. Her mother was a doctor both parents professionals so hardly poor! Please dont buy into stereotypes; not ALL africans are disadvantaged.

  • @dlfunky1 I'm sorry, I was mistaken. I was not sterotyping that all the Africans are disadvantaged. From what I heard and read she started out poor, became rich and then once again became poor before she was discovered.

  • @eaglefeatherheart o.k fair enough!

  • You can see she was holding back her tears. May God bless her and the Somali people.

  • An educated woman from the USA & Europe

in ur mind set can lead battle harden people, fighters & civilians r like!!!!

"Educated Woman from the USA & Europe" r place is in the kitchen & in the Shopping Malls in down town.

  • The situation in Somalia is really disturbing. Let's do our part to help

  • i am a somali and it hurts me to see this and i cant believe that Arabs didnt help they are bloody rich

somalis should leave the Arab league and join the African Union.

Arabs are the biggest hypocrites they always say were are muslims and stuff but when it comes down to helping poor somalis nobody cares

and our country is a mess due to somalis copying their terrorist ways

somalis should go back to their beautiful african culture and send those wannabee al shabbaab terrorist back to ARABIA

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI And of course Americans will end of sending more money like we always do.

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI Actually some arabs are helping Kuwait gave 10 million to Somalia but I'm guessing it went to the government and that so called sheikh; shaytaan shareef got hold of the money Britain also gave 22 Billion pounds to Somalia . They need to stop giving it to the government and instead give it to charities to help Somalia at least that way the money would go to them and not the so called useless government.

  • @hotbc yh and we all know that governments are corrupt and they will use the money to buy more weapons.

the same thing is happening to Ethiopia they receive millions of aid money and people are still starving.

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI Hmm no wonder why there's more weapons than food and water in Somalia. We're lucky if they even buy weapons with it coz that way they can fight Al-Shabab out. Those lazy ass men in the government will probably use it for their own family and own needs hence why since they joined the government all their families moved to Europe and US especially shareefs family. Somalia just needs a REAL honest and God fearing president.

  • @hotbc and where would we find a god fearing president, most somalis are corrupt and obsessed with their tribe. maybe it would be better for a women to become a president see how it works out. one who is educated and from Europe.

and i still dont understand how al shabaab rules Somalia surely most people hate them and can easily empower them since there are not big in numbers.

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI Yeah I think it would be better if we did have a Woman president coz the men are obviously useless and tribist, but I don't think they would allow that because it would make these so called men feel smaller and will use Islam as an excuse.

  • @hotbc well it will be a vicious cycle for Somalia they need a change it not then somalia will still look the same in 50 years time.

we need a educated Somali women from europe/USA etc to become president and no excuses

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI -i think you are so out of the loop. there are TONNES of Arabs who care about the situation in Somalia and everywhere they are, they are donating and sending money overseas. where I live, taking into account the state of the economy and how hard things are for every day people, in the midst of all of this, a Palestinian brother donated $5000, in the Muslim community we raised $30k at one point

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI and that figure has increased! and donating isnt easy, if it was every one would be doing it alhamdulilah we were able to do something for our brothers and sisters and as a Somali woman, I appreciate that the Muslim community and in particular our Arab brothers and sisters rise up when the call is made for donations and help. In the middle east, there are more money being sent to help Somalia.

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI Dont think because its not in the media and they're not boasting about it, that they dont send it. I dont understand how people refuse to acknowledge the distinct history of Somalia,

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI that it indeed a very close neighbour to the Arabs, no offense to anyone else but I share more similarites with Arabs than I do with Africans and, the religion, the language, the culture, the views etc all of this we have more in common with Arabs. also I think that you are delusional, if you think that only Arabs are terrorists and its disgusting that you are so obviously racist. if you are a Muslim, I'd suggest you rethink some of the things you've said here.

  • i agree with her that arab countries really need to take control of their region, instead of letting western govts or relying on U.N to do something. although i dont think its possible in the world climate we're in today but its something that arab govts [ the leaders are useless, they dont give a rats arse about their own people so its not surprising that they havent done shit for [anyone] eg. palestine for over 60 years] need to take on board.however arab people and muslims at large care

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI this is heartbreaking to hear because i am a muslim Japanese/Brazilian girl and ive been going to a food bank every weekend and do you know who acctually goes to help? most of them are arabs doing fundraisers and trying to collect food for this famine in somalia...for you to generalize is disgusting and it shows the true nature of your own views and words...repulsive!

I agree with you about the rich arab countries that arnt helping

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI but to genralize all of them in one bag is wrong ofcourse and you know this.....oh f.y.i isnt somalia already part of the african union? and somalia has kept both its african culture and arabic influences amazingly acctually, maybe you need to educate yourself about your own country

  • @kuradenne amazingly huh somalia is a mess and everyone knows it

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI

Somalia is part of the ARAB league and theAfrican Union and trust me when I say nobody wants Al shabab. They're like dictators nobody wants them but their difficult to get rid off.

  • @easyjammin how can they get rid of al-shabaab

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI

honestly i think they need outside help. maybe from america but especialy the UK (maybe italy because of the past relationship). The UK is one of the biggest donaters but it would be more effective getting rid of al-shabab (seeing as they're stopping aid).

  • @easyjammin the UK is already paying thousands of pounds to somali politicians who are very corrupt.

they also pay for they militants in Mogadishu.

i have watched a interesting document about war lords and who is behind it and the Ethiopians play a massive role too. i will send you the documentary so you can see it for yourself

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI

Doesn't matter which cuntry does as long as they take out the war lords and the al-shabab (and pirates). but they should also fund farming projects, water projects (to stop future droughts) and help built maybe not a central government but a government with strong foundations.

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI

I do agree. Other than the turks (which I know are not arabs) no other rich muslim nation is really giving a helping hand. This is not to be overgeneralised because I do know there are arab and muslim charities trying to help.

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI I agree with you more than a 1000 000 000 000 times... that's absolutely true wallahi...

  • @iLoveDJIBOUTI True and well say:) Somalia Should go back to it beautiful culture and should kick out those wannabee idiots

  • God bless Arab people even though im Somali. @ Black che.... arabs are not the problem but thier regims the leaders are stupid................

  • @Ahmed26813 yeah they are not the problem but ...i read about a shaikh caving his name of the earth so it can be seenin space the other day......now, the rich of them would rather have their names read by aliens than save a dying somali kid. sadly.

  • Arabs don’t care about black Africans lady, they just use you to kill their enemies, and hard is it for countries to air drop food and water to this poor people, damn!
