You're like a hip version of Joshua Topolsky. As for tuners, this is 2012 and theres iPhone. At first I was afraid that i might break my string by tightening since they are very unwound right out of the box.
I've never really been too passionate about music in my life. I played piano when I was a kid, but that was about it. When I got a ukulele as a souvenier, I was really excited, and your videos are a huge help to a super beginner like me. Groovy, thanks Boognish. Just got my first uke (after years of guitar playing) and it's nice to learn a great song my first day. I also mucked around with I Wanna Be Like You and Marble Tulip Juicy Tree, both ones I can play on guitar as well.

Thanks very much for breaking down the intro! It really made sense of the intro seeming off balance when I play. Great lesson. I've looked up chord changes for various tabs, and I've grown to become more of a fan of C, Em, Am, F / C, Em, Am, F for chorus, and C, G, F, C / C, G, Am, F. Also, golden pipes bro.

While I'd LOVE to fly over to your house, buy you a drink, and hold your hand.... There are Chord charts ALL OVER THE NET... There is this website called "Google." I recommend you check it out... Type the words "ukulele chord chart" in and you'll get more than you can handle.
You don't explain half of the stuff. How am I suppose to practice the chords when you don't show how to do them? Just showing while you are playing the song doesn't help.
You just taught me my first song on the ukelele thanks ;)

Thanks for the tut.
I just bought a ukulele, but when pressing some strings, I find it difficult to avoid touching the other strings that you are not suppose to touch.
