Though I've never been in South Africa, I find that South Africa is a great source of hope for those peoples that are under oppression to lose their fears and accept diversity. Afrikaners continue to be a great people (actually the ONLY European-originated people in all Africa), and the South African blacks, coloureds and Asians have proved that it's possible to live free in a country that was previously subject to racial supremacy. I'd wish I could say the same about Israel. Long live S.Africa!

I hate all this talk of "Afrikaners" , guess what that word means in Afrikaans....no , it isn't what Boers call themselves these days, it means "someone born in Africa" (in other words, it's an inclusive word not meant to be used to describe any culture and instead where you come from in terms of place of birth). I hold in such a high regard my heart every SADF soldier who was there in defense of their country, and feel a strong sense of empathy for the feeling of betrayal they experienced when the NP government betrayed them and their sacrifice and hard work over there. Though I've never been in South Africa, I find that South Africa is a great source of hope for those peoples that are under oppression to lose their fears and accept diversity. Afrikaners continue to be a great people (actually the ONLY European-originated people in all Africa), and the South African blacks, coloureds and Asians have proved that it's possible to live free in a country that was previously subject to racial supremacy. Ek het besluit op dag een, toe ons Kanada toe getrek het, dat ek nie my taal sal meng nie. Dis hoe mens stadig maar seker die afrikanse woorde begin vergeet.. ek sukkel bietjie met woorde skat en spelling aangesien ek in gr7 laas in afrikaans skool gehaad het. I hate all this talk of "Afrikaners" , guess what that word means in Afrikaans....no , it isn't what Boers call themselves these days, it means "someone born in Africa" (in other words, it's an inclusive word not meant to be used to describe any culture and instead where you come from in terms of place of birth). I am a Boer, not some spineless "Afrikaner" kak, afterall it was a term first used by the Afrikaner Broederbond (almost like the Free Masons in ways) and the National Party.
