@ke4bss The Radical Republicans were bent on turning the US from a confederation of free sovereign republics into a single corporate nation state with puppet provinces. They wanted to totally destroy the constitution and did so irreversibly when they added the 14th amendment to it. Don't be fooled by the title everyone in the US has their civil rights protected lawfully in the body of the constitution. We must secede and get out of this mess. Davis predicted the cause would resurface.

I still fly the US flag because I love the founding documents and the founding fathers of the US. I believe in the old US Republic as formed by the founding fathers and the constitution, not this so called "Presidential Democracy" (which is becoming more and more a socialist dictatorship). I believe in maintaining a union of free states but if one state feels they would be better off independent of the Federal Government then who am I to tell another state how to live?
