Caso haja interesse aí vai o link: watch?v=8rQXNuDh8o0
@DedmonStudios close, they're called scud/skud fingers, not sure of the spelling, its basically a part of the supercell that drops down and looks like a funnel but has no rotation. stormchasers might classify it as a decoy in a supercell
I can't believe I never saw this video. I lived in Santa Rosa, Argentina for 7 months. Never saw any tornadoes, but there were some strong storms. I think I would have crapped my pants if I would have seen Reed in Santa Rosa.
@asflis Dear Hater, The reason i said that was because its cool. I might storm chase next year with him or be with him for a day. By the sound of it your just jealous. Your friend, JCT
if you're ever in a storm, and think you're in trouble, just think about these guys.. i mean these guys chase huge tornados and stuff and they're still alive!
@MightySandwich79 True, but I don't have a Dominator. I have a Grand Prix, so if I see a tornado in front of me, I'm turning the hell around and getting the hell out of there!! :D
As a guy who lives in hurricane/tornado country I can tell you it was very humbling and sober to see people's lives screwed up when it wasn't their fault. I've been through a hurricane and I know what it can do so the fact you guys are trying to make my life safer to where I can at least know what to do in an emergency is all I can ask for.
The fact you are going book is a great accomplishment Reed. Congrats man!
Hey Reed, the new episode of stormchasers just aired, and I've never seen anything like that before. I never knew a 2 mile wide tornado that lasts for 140 miles could exist. Us in St. Louis. Mo got slammed that day, but I never heard of the yazoo city tornado, like not even on the news. And your somewhat rival Sean Casey in the TIV, basically said that there's been battles lately, but he has a great deal of respect for you guys for rescuing those people. Thanks guys,
I absolutely adore you guys-- who persuaded me to go into severe meteorology a few years ago. Though I have 5 years to go till I get out of school (in 8th), I am fascinated by you guys. I still don't understand El Nino! I love lightning and thunderstorms, and boy tou show that. As foryour book, I want it, but it's not worth asking my mom, as her answer will be no....
Should of brought The Dominator Reed..!! ..and i was like where is Joel? ..then my girlfriend said ..remember, he doesn't like to be 20 miles away from home.! Ha Ha :-)
@TornadoVideosdotnet Beautiful supercell. Beautiful lightning too. Here in Florida, even though it has a high tornado rate, I've never seen one. I really want to. Haven't even seen a mesocyclone. Not even hail. I had a dream last night with a little hail in it though. All I have seen in Florida is hurricanes, thunderstorms, lightning, heat waves, lightning, more hurricanes, more thunderstorms, and even more lightning. I have seen a dust devil in Austrailia before, however. Keep those vids comin!
