@jaredrush391 Your reply came in sooo late that I managed to unlock him 5 months ago and have maxed him out so now he's an unstoppable monster :D I gave him Almighty + Agility 8 = hyper attack/recovery speed and you should see Ling Tong with Alm+Ag 10 = *gulp*

Right before I got him he traded the game in at GameStop T_T I just picked this up 2 days ago to finally get Orochi X, but I no longer have the data so I gotta start all over.

Lovely showcase of both Orochi and Orochi X. Though it should be noted to all other people that Orochi X has a safer and faster moveset compared to Orochi's, though yes, Orochi's C1 is probably one of the best moves that Koei and Omega force ever made for a warriors game

@crazyweirdomimicers nope its every single stage. But to get dream mode 27 you need at least 2730 total character proficiency. So by extension you need that to unlock Orochi X. Which I did so I would know.

u dont really have to play for hours and hours on end. just play through the game again with your new more powerful characters and get all the treasures. after that u should have all the dream mode stages.. and those can take a while but most of them aren't really all that hard

It's just the "Get your total lvl to 3750" and "Get your total proficiency to 2750"

It's taking forever

You don't need treasures for most of the Dream Mode stages. The hardest one is the 2730 total proficiency. Which I finally completed after a year of playing it on and off. Orochi X is awesome.

Try fighting in a stage that has a lot of enemies and officers, like Hinokawa in Orochi's storyline. Hope that helped.

No just once on any difficulty. But I still screw getting Orochi X. Dream modes 1, 2, and 27. No. 2,730 or something total proficiency is necessary. Screw that. Orochi X just isn't worth it.

actually it's pretty cool. Though the range of the attack does suck, the red beam stuns enemies immediately and empties their musou gauge. It can come in handy when fighting tougher bosses.

where as Orochi's c1 has a large amount of damage, it also takes a little while, which is when some bowmen get the bright idea to start firing on you. The laser is quick, stuns and empties musou and prevents embarrassing defeats such as Kiyomori's Killer Hug.

Stage 26 needs a total level of 3500 (or something around that number), not proficiency.

well, I think u gotta get weapon lvl 50 profeciency on at least half of the roster, or 54 characters *yawn* they make getting all the characters that much harder -.- and i think u need at least 18 dream stage modes :(

I think you mean character proficiency. Yeah get it to level 50 or everyone at level 30 or so. You must also complete each dream stage at least once. The correct stats are on gamespot and IGN.

AND, then u must get the total lvls of weapon proficiency above 3200 and the aqcuired abilities at over 150 to unlock the necessary Dream mode stages. Either way u put it, its going to take a VERY long and abslolutely boring time just to get 1 character. Its too much effort, even Orochi In WO was easier to unlock.

no he now makes a little shockwave when he and his doubles attack, which gets more people. Orochi X's R1 is grabbing some and then doing loads of force field blasts kinda like pang tongs musou.

Yeah like you i spent 2 days to unlock all abilities. It's easy to have a character at lvl 99 and 4th weapon eq with 8(10 Flash, 10 Brave etc) element. But it's not easy getting their prof max though, i can't be bothered maxing their prof though since they don't add any benefits to my char so yeah i i leave my char there once i get em to lvl 99, max element on 4th weapon and tenbu(Almight, resolve, evasion/highflyer) =P

that's what I did as well. I basically used Wu 4 and Wei 8 when I was tired of playing Wu's stage.

Wu 4 = 5-6 proficiency

Wei 8 = 7-8 proficiency

It depends on which upgrade you're going for. Some Tenbu require more weapon elements than others.

@kysmight82: It took me about 3weeks playing 1-2 hours per day(everyday). I'm sure you could get it faster playing more hours than I did daily. Tenbu is just effects that are added to your weapon. Basically you sacrifice your weapon(s) to give your main weapon a special upgrade. The effects depends on what you are trying upgrade.

sujinyong: I don't think the PSP WO2 is out yet. Also this was played on the XBOX360. And I'm not sure what the lightning effect is. I think its part of SO's move tho.

I usually focus on one character at a time. 85% of my characters are Lvl 99 due to so much grinding for SO. I'm not sure what Tenbu is called in english, to be honest I never touched the manual lol. From what I understand Tenbu is what the weapon upgrades are called, for example, the Tenbu I used are Almighty, Verity, and Evasion therefore, all of these qualify as "Tenbu".
