The reason for that is because of time travelers. Humans weren't born yet when dinosaurs were alive. But if a human traveled far enough to the past they can be in the same time and place as a dinosaur.
Theres a small problem with that theory, we live in the here and now and the future is not possible to predict, or like you said there are time travelers and our future is nothing but ancient history for them. So which do you think is more likely? Which do you honestly think is the more viable solution?
When a person goes to the past they arrived to an event before they left. If they go far enough to the past they will be in the same time plane as the dinosaurs but the humans are not native to that time plane. It is possible that humans may have taken some specimens from the past to the future with them.
With current human understanding I would have to say that its probable, but not possible. I would love for it to be real and possible. Sadly we don't have the ability to do it so its not.

If they had survived, why is there a sudden disappearance of dinosaurs in the fossil record 65 million years ago. @bagman4175 By examining radiometric age dating, I would say the Earth had to be around 3.8 to 4.5 billion years old- based on Zircon (the oldest mineral found on the planet) found in North America, Africa, Asia, Australia and Greenland.
By deductive reasoning I would say thousands of years could not permeate a stable time for organisms to evolve, but billions would be enough time (especially 4) . Evident in minerals found. Can you offer evidence that Earth is not as old as this?

@DustinKingFilms and YECs whole system is founded on a belief of biblical proportions; granted nowhere in the Bible does it say mankind is a thousand years old, let alone two. We use their belief to give ourselves a time of existance- something even scientists argue on. I'm no scientist, but I will say time did not begin by a countdown to Jesus. Did people in B.C.(E). times use B.C.? No. That's just our modern recorded time.

@DustinKingFilms If you study the genealogy of the Bible from the time of Adam, you come up with a date of about 6,000 years ago. Obviously people didn't say B.C. in times before Christ. (Regarding B.C.E., what separates the Common Era, from Before Common Era?) According to the Chinese calendar the year is somewhere around 4707 or 4647. The Jewish calendar puts 2010 coinciding with 5770-5771. Man had to start counting the years at some point, how come no one has a date more than 10,000 years?

Whatever the case entails, I am not disputing humans evolving; never said I even believe in the theory. But other organisms on this planet have, there lies my discussion.
And the oldest recorded date proven is 2600 B.C.E., from a Sumerian List of Kings that outdates even Egypt. His name was En-me-barage- si.

The results ranged from half a million, to three million years old on the same lava flow that occurred only 11 years earlier. Basalt from Mt. Etna, Sicily(122 BC) gave K-Ar age of 250,000 years old. Lava from the 1801 Hawaiian volcano eruption gave a K-Ar date of 1.6 Million years old.

Decay rates can be altered, we just haven't looked into how that occurs though some people suggest fluctuations in neutrino emissions, gamma ray bursts, or peizoelectric effects in the rocks of the Earth's crust. Dating itself is just another theory, but has more facts based on them. What form of scientific properties would you base the lifespan of the Earth on?

@DustinKingFilms One limiting factor I would like to look at, is the distance from the Moon to the Earth. The Moon is receding from the Earth at a rate of about 1 inch per year. Because both gravitational forces and friction loss can be computed and predicted and calculated, we determine that the limiting factor is a maximum of 1.2 billion years. Still considerably older than YECs would say, but is this much younger date than 4.5 billion years starting to create a problem for evolution?

Helium is created by the radioactive decay of elements such as uranium and thorium, and forms at a relatively known and constant rate. The rate in which helium escapes Earth's atmosphere is also known; and as it turns out, the rate of loss is less that the rate of accumulation. Therefore, we can calculate the limiting factor of helium in the atmosphere to no greater than 2 million years.

There is a mountain evidence for the theory of evolution. However, there is also no concievable way the universe could be created except by an extratemporal, sentient force (a.k.a. God). The only compromise is the logical path of thought is that an Almighty Being (God) created the human race in his own image and likeness through an evolutionary process. We're too important to God for Him to just "wham-bam-thank you, ma'am" creation. God knows what He's doing, so trust Him!

The reason for that is because of time travelers. Humans weren't born yet when dinosaurs were alive. But if a human traveled far enough to the past they can be in the same time and place as a dinosaur.

When a person goes to the past they arrived to an event before they left. If they go far enough to the past they will be in the same time plane as the dinosaurs but the humans are not native to that time plane. It is possible that humans may have taken some specimens from the past to the future with them.

I checked out this guy's website. He thinks that a Tuojiangosaurus is a subspecies of stegosaur.
So this guy's knowledge of animals doesn't extend as far as knowing the difference between a subspecies and a genus--Tuojiangosaurus for example. He also doesn't understand the difference between a species and a family (Stegosaur for example).

I study palaeontology and i study dinosaurs, and I know they're dead. The process of natural selection eliminated them from this world. If they had survived, why is there a sudden disappearance of dinosaurs in the fossil record 65 million years ago. Had they survived, their evolution pattern would have enabled them to be as smart as humans, carrying out similar actions as we do today. Know of any dinosaurs that live down the road and play football every weekend? Don't think so.

Fossils can be dated by radiocarbon dating amongst other methods, which looks at the half-life of material in the surrounding rock. Google radiocarbon dating.

first, we cant really PROVE carbon dating is correct about when things existed if it was thousands of years ago
second, carbon dating has be notoriously inaccurate when determining the ages of stuff that we already know the ages of.
third, the way the test is done can be fooled if there are certain elements or chemicals accidently mixed in
as my forensics teacher says, it sux, but trust until we get something better.

Technically, radiocarbon dating is not used to date rocks. It is extremely accurate to around 50,000 years (only a moron would call it inaccurate).
Things such as K-Ar, Rubidium-Strontium, lead zircons, etc. are used to date fossils that are millions of years old.
