lee should win this, lee has now settled in his metabolism, has gained so much power, and makes the weight comfortable. he is your stereotypical manny steward stable fighter, he uses the ring perfectly now, can make it as big or little as his wants in a second considering his first class footwork.
macklin who i rate as a potential WC, would need to be patient, and hope lee gets drawn into a tear up in the mid-late rounds, then KO him, but i would expect Lee to be very composed in this fight,

It's a shame Andy Lee wasn't as interested in the European title when Macklin had it. Lee will have problems with his stamina and inablity to fight and defend on the inside for his entire career. He will get no credit for fighting this guy with very poor ranking, have been knocked out a few times and well past his prime.

i see your point. but look at the macklin vs moore fight at light-middleweight. macklin just didn't have the extra stamina that he now has at middleweight. if lee does move upto super middleweight there is a good chance his stamina will improve
Not an easy one to call. The momentum is with Macklin at the moment, comming off some good results but you have to rember that he has been beaten twice by European Level Boxers!
As we have seen with Lee he is suceptible to getting roughed up and cannot fight on the inside! Lee to take him apart over 10 rounds with 1 or 2 dominant rounds for macklin where he tries for the KO Lee. Lee needs to move up in weight. Don't forget about Duddy!

First of all Andy Lee lost due to a terrible refereeing decision! He was still throwing punches and hadn't been dropped once in the fight. Moore is European level but not the best in Europe and was able to KO Macklin.

Moore is not the best in Europe, you don't get ko'd by Ryan Rhodes if you are the best in Europe!! Lee wasn't ko'd by Vera, the fight was stopped with Lee still throwing punches. Vera refused to give Lee a rematch which says it all really.

I dont see whats wrong with andys chin at all? its obvious to me what his problem is its his STAMINA! its garbage. him fighting at this weight is no problem he walks around only a couple of pounds heavier than the middle weight limit... (his words not mine) he completely dominated the higher ranked belghecham until he got tired and got caught.... hope he can fix his stamina problems before he fights again.

i see your point. but look at the macklin vs moore fight at light-middleweight. macklin just didn't have the extra stamina that he now has at middleweight. if lee does move upto super middleweight there is a good chance his stamina will improve

Not an easy one to call. The momentum is with Macklin at the moment, comming off some good results but you have to rember that he has been beaten twice by European Level Boxers!
As we have seen with Lee he is suceptible to getting roughed up and cannot fight on the inside! Lee to take him apart over 10 rounds with 1 or 2 dominant rounds for macklin where he tries for the KO Lee. Lee needs to move up in weight. Don't forget about Duddy!

@nictophobia1 the only reason i "spouted alot of shit about irish boxers" is because you said irish boxing is healthier then british boxing which it isn't..i commented on this video because macklin is birtish/irish.. and im not favoring macklin because he is british. but he would destroy lee. lee has decent boxing skills. but has been found out by complete bums. macklin lost to facey early in his career. in a close fight. then moore ko' him in 2006. nothing to be embarassed about moore is good.

First of all Andy Lee lost due to a terrible refereeing decision! He was still throwing punches and hadn't been dropped once in the fight. Moore is European level but not the best in Europe and was able to KO Macklin.
To say that Lee has faced only bums in comparison with Macklin's opponents is rubbish!
Lee to outbox him for the majority of the fight winning a decision! Can't see Macklin beat Pavlik!

he got beat by moore in 2006 when he was nowhere near peak. and jamie moore is very very good. he is the best in europe in my opinion even tho he got beat by rhodes in a classic. lee got tko'd by vera who isn't a good fighter. i agree lee need's to move up in weight but would his chin hold up at smw? macklins boxing ability get's underrated. lee has good skills aswell. but like you said he can be roughed up and when macklin takes him into the trenches he will ko him. hope the ifght comes off.

Moore is not the best in Europe, you don't get ko'd by Ryan Rhodes if you are the best in Europe!! Lee wasn't ko'd by Vera, the fight was stopped with Lee still throwing punches. Vera refused to give Lee a rematch which says it all really.

Macklin by mid rounds ko maybe even earlier. andy lee has alot of potential but he doesn't seem to back it up in his performances
