@4tt1 It's not that hard...if you play like 3 hours a day PROPERLY you can do it in...maybe 10 years. He started when he was a kid, we need to remember that =). I can play this at 50% of the tempo, I have been playing 5 years know...I have a long way to go...

Speaking of great musicians besides Paco. The gentlemen who submitted this video is in one of the best Flamenco guitarist in the US. And I have actually been to his house and played guitar with him - he is the only person I have ever seen play EntreDosAguas all the way thru including the fast picado runs almost exactly like Paco. I nearly fell over when I saw it with my own eyes! Thanks Ricardo and hope to meet up with you again in the future! Also his CD is awesome.buy it, it's worth the money!

MeekSeek-I stand by my original comment-sorry but the truth hurts sometimes-the majority of americans have a very superficial understanding of music, not to say that there are not exceptions. There are of course great musicians in the US. One positive factor in the US has been all of the immigrants from other countries who have brought there musical cultures to the US. This has indeed helped educate the US public. My hope at least in my community is that more people begin to understand flamenco!

I agree with Hucho, Paco is who he is because he was born and raised in Spain. Musically especially in America the majority of the public does not know what good music is nor are they culturally educated about anything more than bubble gum popular music on the radio. Of course there exceptions but they are usually musicians who have a much deeper appreciation for music than the average american.
