true, true. But I am curious, is there any way in which women could be TOTALLY politically equal to men? I mean, even in matriarchal societies women were subservient to male ideals which shaped their gender roles--except maybe in female-only societies (of which I cannot think of any).

I have read the book the natashas and also do work for an anti trafficking charity. You're right when you say women are seen as second class..BUT we will NEVER become first class if people like YOU just accept it. In ancient egyption times women ruled just as much as men..In 1865 Black people were freed from the slave trade and now America has a black president, women must stop allowing men to see them as docile, submissive people and work hard to become an equal..if theres a will, theres a way.
