Great new vid on Youtube titled "The Last Days of the Big Lie" youtube.com/watch?v=-48HQpgQRz0
Safer to be in German work camp than German city as cities were being carpet bombed mercilessly.
Dr. David Duke's latest vid- “The Real Rogue Nuclear State” great also: youtube.com/watch?v=KLSlmLx4Fls
FDR vs Hitler. Both took power/office 1933 their countries unemployed 25-30%. 6-8 years later Germany rate 2% USA still 20%. How? Hitler threw off International Bankers they HATE him 4 it still.
November 18th 1998. Sitting in a packed theatre in George Street, Sydney. We had only started to hear how graphic the film was going to be. You could really feel the tension in the seats. Two moments that struck me at the time was the sort of heroic shot of the Higgins boats approaching the beach and up pops this helmeted head to vomit over the side and how relatively quiet were the bullet hits were when the gate went down.
It was also my first week with my girlfriend and we are still together.
The images in E.T. accompanied by John Williams powerful score in wonderful 6track DOLBY STEREO that = floods of tears. It’s tour de force musical magical ride of classic. 10 out of 10
Close Encounters works wondrously it was one of two first to use baby boom on DOLBY STEREO 70mm 6track discrete.
Saving Private Ryan one word. Magnificent 10 out of 10
he did indeed have his golden age when he was young and made his four masterpieces: jaws, close encounters, raiders and ET. Never since has he been nowhere near that artistic height.
@mrhammer1777 i know it's a matter of opinion, but as an adamant follower of spielberg and an amateur filmmaker nine years running, saving private ryan, as powerful and brilliantly opened as it is, is not his greatest film. i maintain to this day that jaws will forever be his masterpiece, due to not just its technical genius, but to its rich narrative. it's the simplest of stories, rooted in national paranoia (vietnam), but i feel it's his greatest work. just my opinion:)
i grew up admiring steven speilberg.. i think even more.. infatuation
drove me to persue film my whole life, then i got to a point where i felt my admiration was cleshe'.. it's speilberg, we expect these kinds of movies from him.
thanks for this post.. reminding me why he was the greatest inspiration of them all (with exception to Jim Henson)
I never once looked at ET like that the film about a boy wanting to find a soul mate.
It works though again as he said a sub culture, now I am not really for orchestrial music, but I have to say John Williams is a legend.
I am a mega fan of Multimedia work, ILM is the best company ever in that field, I did a part of my course in Multimedia at University during my degree year in 3D Studio Max, have to say I'm a bit of a nerd.
That's not necessarily true, in my opinion. "Jaws" is my favorite movie of all time, but I've loved everything else that Spielberg has done, like "Schindler's List."
just being reminded of all his work makes me really appreciate him that much more. Respect to him and love for the films that have meant something to me
I've like many of his movies, but in terms of his political affiliations, NOPE. His acts in a hypocritical manner. he has been giving money to the son of a Nazi that has a history of womanizing, groping, and racist attitudes. Being Jewish, he should know not to associate with Nazi mentality. but I guess his addiction to alcohol clouded his judgement.
Also, Schwarzenegger was close friends with kurt Waldheim who was a convicted Nazi.
Schwarzenegger should have NEVER been allowed to be in this country, let alone a Government official. he has single handedly screwed California and continues to do so every day. He has LIED since Day 1. He won't take Special Interest money. BS!!!! That's all he does is take Special Interest money and hasn't fixed anything.
Well I know what he is doing lol. I live in Los Angeles so I know what kind of bullshit he is doing. I just didnt know about the Nazi shit. Thats fucking crazy and pathetic how our government may know about this and doesnt do anything about it... wow... but im going to have to look up who kurt waldheim is... What i did know about schwarzenegger is that back in the day he gang raped this lady in the gym with other bodybuilders and he was a womenizer
Yeah, and he got off from going to court with all of the women that wanted to sue him and press charges, but since he is rich, famous and friends with high ranking Gov officials, he gets off. That guy should have been put in the slammer a LONG time ago.
Why Speilberg gave Schwarzenegger money for his campaign is just plain idiotic. I lost every bit of respect for Spielberg after I heard about his campaign contributions to Arnold. Even his ex-appointee Rob Reiner went against Schwarzenegger after he stepped down, I think he went public about how Arnold was a phony.
The good thing is that Hollywood isnt the only place that I can follow my dream these days. People like Tyler Perry and Will Smith give me alot of hope in this industry. Jamie Foxx and others... But my hero's also inclue Spielberg, George Lucas, Peter Jackson, Tim Burton, Stanley Kubrick, Stephen King, Oliver Stone, Spike Lee, Tyler Perry, Aaron Spelling and television Mogul such as Bob Johnson. I can only wish to become that successful.
Wow! I had no idea spielberg supported his campaign... Im only 19 after all.... I dont really follow political things like that. The only political election I have ever followed was the last presidential campaigns because it was my first time ever voting...
Yeah... so how do you know Spielberg is affiliated with him? Spielberg is a jew... Also I just read up on that austian president you spoke of. .thats crazy shit. Arnolds dad was close to him... Both Nazi's... but yeah Spielberg is a great filmmaker. I dont agree withalot about hollywood though. I see alot of racial problems. I myself am Black, White, and puerto Rican. I wish to become a screenwriter, director and producer and some day own my own Production company but Hollywood may not be ready
Steven is my inspiration..I'll be just like him some day. Love you Steven, and to the person below, yes he's Jewish and what? Judge him from his movies not his believes.
Good interview. Asking good questions, and letting the subject talk.
