While there were big issues with the band at this point, Phil was past the whole falling over the stage bit, and they would have went on the next tour, maybe patched things up, and did another album. But with the cancellation of the tour, problems were just not dealt with, and Phil distanced further. I'm thankful I've gotten to see Pantera live, just wish I could still do so. You're missed Dime! And Pantera. One of the greatest metal bands ever.

I saw Pantera live on this Reinventing the Steel tour. The band was definitely on its way out, the show was boring. They played really good though, and Diamond Darrel's vocal part was a nice surprise. Morbid Angel was on the same tour and played a hell of a lot more energetic set.
