how many channels can do you get to listen to on this? is this unlimited since its satelite xm can i listen to local stations along with talk shows around the states or the world?? is this free i have one but dont know anything please help?

DO NOT BUY THE xmp3i.
I'm not sure what model is in the video, but I just bought the xmp3i, and the scroll wheel does NOT work.
I'm not the only one who found this out the hard way.
Their website tells you to do a firmware update to get it working.
I did this. Still doesn't work. Read all of the reviews on this unit that you can before buying it.
I'm sure glad that I didn't wait until Christmas to give it to my girlfriend. It really would have sucked!

brand new on ebay with home kit and car kit for 198.00 free shipping go to ebay type in xmp3 on ebay search to find it .already ordered mine from the xm dealer.

Why did I only rate 3 stars?! What I want to know is how well the built in antenna works. I have a myfi with a built in antenna and it stinks. The reception is so poor with out the external antenna that I think the myfi was not passed the r n d stage and ready for consumer release when i purchased it! Oh and what you reffered to as the "portable antenna" was most likely the home antenna. Why would you have a portable antenna with a device that has a built in antenna?

wifi what is used to connect to the internet with a wifi card or built in wifi on your computer. There is however internet radio which you can listen to on your computer by going to the web page of the radio station. Or you can get whats called a wifi radio that pick up a wifi siginal from your wireless router and connects you to all those stations radio stations that are streaming their content on the internt automatically. The xmp3 is satilite radio and is differnt than wifi.
