I didn't listen to his music a lot when I was a kid but I always stopped what I was doing when I saw him on tv. He's the kind of person that can get people to listen.

I still remember this commercial. Came on when I was a kid. There's a part where he's walking and talking to the camera. I wasn't old enough to appreciate his music. But it's really sad to think that a man like John Denver could die in such a way.

My business is trimming and removal of trees...and i have listened to this song many times through the years. Incredibly beautiful! And it brings tears to my eyes. I have loved John's music since the early 70s, and especially now, on the day before Earth Day, I'm thinking of his passionate work as an environmentalist. His spirit lives on in all of us who care for the earth.
