@alexdc22 That is typical behavior. Even Gorillas watch from the bushes keeping most of their heads hidden. It is a rare occasion the Bigfoot will stick it's whole head into view whether or not it is dark or light.
Very interesting, I had a very similar situation, I could not see the eye shine with the naked eye, but when I looked through my NightShots video camera with IR I could see the eye shine. It was very weird and like your video they were VERY close.
@susanfarns would you consider them dangerous, do ever think they would attack you. What do you think they see you as? A Predator perhaps? Why are they so scared to reveal themselves like any other animal?
@hessy0969 Most of the time I do not believe they are dangerous, but they are wild, and could defend themselves or their young if they felt threatened. I think they look at me as an older, kinder human that is not out to hurt them. They may consider other humans as preditors (hunters, atv riders, etc). I believe the cryptic nature (hiding) is a developed instinct of a higher level inteligence. They have watched humans kill not only animals but ourselves. Humans are dangerous.
When eyes seem to shine it's because they are reflecting light from something else. Given that it was so dark, how was there so much reflection off the "eyes"? I've never seen eyes on any other animal reflect so much light. I think these lights are from other source,
@mdvvi Yes, it was from the infarred source on the camera. IR will "light up" eyes and make them look like flashlights. I could not see the eyeshine because I was not wearing night vision, but the camera was.
@SUSANFARNS I've read that military shooters who use night vision use this feature at times, but that the two eyes are differentiable. My guess is that the eyes don't give off so much heat as to present one large "eye". Admittedly, the fellow in the video was much closer to the camera, but his eyes didn't shine at all. Perhaps a test could be done in the future where a person goes into the woods while well covered up except for the eyes just to see how it looks. Tks for replying.
I have used military grade night vision while in the military, but The night vision available on affordable cameras is no where near the military quality. Next time I am out there at night, I will try your experiment. Thanks.
So did the squatch slip up on you? Hard to believe the squatch could get within 20-30 feet of you and you did not hear the squatch move in. Keep up the good work.
Thank you I hope next time u come across a nest you chain a camera to a tree and Point towards it. Seems like you have a nack for finding nest that are active and Bigfoots are hiding inside, even if you don't relize at first there in there. They gotta come out let's catch them on camera!
Have you ever came face to face with a bigfoot.I want to say thankyou for, all the videos of bigfoot you put on youtube.Keep up the good work =) Good luck and be safe =)

They produce every color eye shine of the spectrum...they use it as a form of communication among other things....

It's a raccoon. Look how low to the ground it is. Definitely a raccoon. Perhaps a raccoon with oversized paws.

@deerwhacker7 I could hear them, just couldn't see them. That is why I had my sound amplifier on and was trying to record the audio.
