Nice! Looks like you were just down the river from where I was at (Granada boat launch). In some ways I think the evening shots are better than the night or day shots... the colors the streamer picks up are just incredible. As for ewe, you try tracking and zooming in on something moving that speed and altitude without some camera shake or distortion.
Yeah, I know what you mean, but like I said, the tripod was very jerky, and the stuff at the beginning was just messing around. The tripod was also in the sand, which didn't help, and I had to do it on the fly, not saying I'm a master with focusing and stuff, but I looked at the computer and it was going off a lot sooner than I thought. So I ran across the street and did the best I knew how in like 3 minutes.
But I mean, defensively, looking at your videos, I don't really see what right you have to say that. You have 3 videos that are almost two years old, and I wouldn't say they're exactly the pinnacle of cinematography.
