it's already an eruption..don;t expect a tremendous one time bomb like explosion..it only happens in movies...well., pinatubo did the same..but will you wish for that??? it changed the world's climate for a period of time...and killed 300 instantly...but left a destruction that up to now the philippines has not gotten over with..
Cool vids. How far away from that thing are you? Mt. St. Hellens leveled everything within 100 Km. It looks like your at about 40-50 Km. Is that far enough?
From recent news last night on tv, there was live footage from abs-cbn of a volcanic eruption of mayon at exactly 12 midnight of dec 25,2009. It spewed a fireball 23 meters above it's cone supposedley

Hello from San Diego. Great shots, especially at 4:53 showing the fast movement down the mountain. Great close-up there.
If the camera had a twilight or nighttime mode it would be nice to get more detail at night.

There should be a way to set your cam's focus to Manual, then it won't pingpong like that. My cam does it too in auto, its maddening.
