I sincerely thought that this was going to suck...and as i watched the first episode, i somehow found myself watching up to this one...i still see many star wars' themes in this film so i have to say that this is truly AWSOME!!
Although I think this lacks the classic SW feel, I'm still really enjoying this. The visuals are spectacular and the language is beautiful. Not only are the actors and actresses terrific, but they actually LOOK the part. Incredibly impressive work.
I think i have pined this time line down to around 150 years after the Battle of Yaven. Luke skywalker died at 137ABY. and I know that even around 40ABY the sith were becoming a bigger presenes in the Galaxy. at least thats what im thinking because the Galactic Empire aka the Imperial Reminante still exsists and uses star Destoryers and Moffs as there Admirals. And thats what i saw at the very beggining of this video. VERY nicely done and attention to detail

As for other country's may not make as many movies and watch English movie with subtitles. We arnt use to watching movies in other languages so are usually interested in English movies. As an English speaker and a lover of foreign films I will agree with your point, however I think that the English subtitling is a must. English is a language that is spoken to some degree everywhere, a fact that is attested to by your writing in English. It is a good language for subtitling. I am glad that the creators of this film, or whoever did the subtitling, were nice enough to see that.
Certainly a cut above the usual dross callled Star Wars fan films. Shame this lot didn't have more money, coz I find it way more imaginative and competent than what that burnt out git Lucas gets away with.

These are so good that the time just flies by when watching them. Before you know it, it's over and time to move on to the next one. One thing though, I hope by the end we find out about Organa. I'm trying NOT to be a continuity hound but with Bail Organa,Leia Organa, I just hope it explains the connection.
That's a point that I wish THEY would've made!(Or AT LEAST made it MORE clear that the time frame is AFTER "Return of the Jedi".) I WONT harp on there NOT being any Organas since Leia wasn't REALLY one and became a SOLO besides after wedding Han because it's POSSIBLE that another Organa DID escape the destruction of Alderaan.

I think you are missing the point of why this is so amazing. It is made by fans and is very close to as good as any Hollywood movie. Maybe there is hope for the movie industry when you take corporations out of the equation.

i really like it... i like the tone and the sense of urgency... maybe a real threat... but.... lightsaber fights are a tad weak.
all in all... an extremely good tone of the movie.... reminds me of a new hope.
