Sly Stone is apparently living on the road - literally and figuratively - these days. To me he was and continues to be hugely influential regardless of the disorganization and additictions that have been with him much of his life. I just hope he can take it easy sometime. This is one of my favs of all time.

@jojamful Oh yeah...."WE BLEW YO MIND!" Ha ha! Love that one. It's on the "Stand" album which was their 4th album and it came out in 1969 before the Woodstock performance. One of the greatest albums of the '60s. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Sly and The Family Stone "The Woodstock Experience" 2-CD set that came out in 2009 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock. It has the entire show, encore and all, on the 2nd disc! Band KILLS IT FROM THE FIRST NOTE TO THE LAST!!!!
