@RainaLuvsLPS You have to put the eye pin in before baking it otherwise the clay will be hard and you cant get the pin in. Also the time it takes the clay to bake depends on how thick your clay is. Check your clay package for the instructions.

@kriquit Does the clay get dry if you keep it outside too long? Or does it only dry when you are baking it?

@ChinTingS the clay gets harder based on the temperature that you're living in. If it's cold, it'll get harder but if it's hot, it'll either "melt" or get harder just a little bit. It gets harder if you keep it outside for too long, but you can always condition it. The clay will be absolutely hard after you bake it and there will be nothing you can do about it because it's already cured.

@ILoveSillyBandz1011 You can make a small rectangular prism with a piece of scrap clay and then bake it. Put some corn starch on the tip of the prism so that it wouldn't stick to the clay that you're going to be working with. Just push the prism onto the clay in order to make a nice square indentation.

@abbyRaimundo Just wash you surface with a moist warm towel, after every color to keep at colors clean. Also make sure you wash your hands with warm soapy water after every color, or if you don't have time or just don't want to just before you use white clay.

@CallMeShay153 i don't own a pasta machine but i get by just fine using a crayola marker. a rolling pin, pen, or anything that is cylindrical will work. it may not be perfectly level, but you can get it really close pretty easily.

ummm i have a little advice... the coffee mud when u wrap up the ugly peice with the striped peice, instead of wraping the whole sheet of stripes then cutting, why dont you just lay the ugly peice on the stripewd sheet and cut the desired length! it would make ur life a whole lot easier!! ...... Julia, you truly hit the jack pot with those cookie cutters, I found the Kitchen Kitchen website, they don't seem to sell them any more, just my luck, and I don't know if you bought each shape set separate but that's how they are selling them now a days and to assemble one like yours cost a fortune, not $7.00, if you could tell us more about the cookie cutter set so it's easier to find on ebay or something or if you know of another set please tell us, other people too, spread the wealth!!!
