Not sure what I am seeing. I see you doing something with what looks like a needle maybe and yarn, but not sure. Would have been nice to have the camera focused on your hands at some point to see what it is.

I never saw it done this way before. Much easier to see how it fits on a pattern this way! Do you pin it on? or am I missing something? Very nice, good quality definition, too!

@mecca115able start with motifs... crochet lots of them: various flowers, leafs etc... after you have enough you can continue joining them together
