@MyFishCare101 yep he seemed pretty happy..always moving about and all. I did move him to a 29 gallon but only because I got another crayfish. If you're getting the dwarf crays, a 10 gallon would be ok for multiple.
@MyFishCare101 I would actually recommend a 20 gallon (long version) or better yet, a 30 gallon tank. Crayfish ARE territorial and will fight with others of their kind if there is not enough space to allow them to set territory boundaries. With a 30 gallon, you MIGHT be able to get away with two of them. Remember, these guys need an air bubbler and lots of filtration as they are pretty dirty. I would NOT recommend adding fish in their unless they are feeders. See part 2 in next comment.
@MyFishCare101 PART 2: Also, remember to add a ornament that will allow he/she to hide in their, as they will feel safer this way. You can feed them shrimp pellets, algae wafers, some vegetables, and even live fish. These guys DO grow by molting. When molting, they will appear to "Walk" out of their exoskeleton. It will even appear as if you now have 2 crayfish - but actually one is its old body and another is his bigger, newer body. Do not mistaken it to be dead. Well, that's about it.
@metalbullz How is it with the fish? I hear a lot of crayfish will eat everything in the tank. Yours doesn't seem to care to much tho. Been thinkin about gettin one and i have about the same size fish.
@bev1324 He really doesnt bother the fish at all. I've since moved him into a 29 gallon tank along with a female crayfish. When I got her, she was agressive towards fish (she was hungry) so I fed her and now she doesn't bother the fish either. As far as I've seen, as long you keep your crays well fed, they won't go after any of the fish.
Was he happy in the ten gallon tank> I'm considering getting one for my ten gal. tank but want to make sure it's OK.

@metalbullz Wouldn't they attack each other, because even if they are dwarf crayfish they are still territorial. That's why I only have 1 in my tank.
