  • I was working on the Spirit of British Columbia and on the Queen of New Westminster watching this 900hp beast playing in our wake. Sorry the New west doesn't make its rooster tail any mare :(

  • Give me a naiad or protector any day

  • mercury c'est le top

  • 4 people are somali pirates...

  • 3 OBMS?!?!?! this is sick! i drive a 300hp twin obm rib. how i wish i can drive a 900hp boat in the comfort of some shielded spring seats haha

  • I think the GSG9 uses this boat

  • The official RIB of the MIB.

  • Is that used by the IDF?

  • ofcourse mercury :$

  • 60 knots in an open RIB .... respect

  • This boat eats up 6-8ft waves. FAST!!! The seat that hangs off the back of the ICE pod broke first time out/ the seat rides like there's no shocks. OUCH

  • This boat eats up 6-8ft waves. FAST!!! The seat that hangs off the back of the ICE pod broke first time out/ the seat rides like there's no shocks. OUCH

  • Why don't the bad guys just BUY one?

  • Impressive!!! 0.o

  • I agree that shock mitigating technology makes it easier but also much more expensive. My point was and i dont want to offend anyone that zodiacs could use a hull upgrades perhaps giving it a sharper v at the bow or rasing the bow upwards to make it less jumpy so it cuts through waves rather than going over them

  • I'd say the good guys dont stand a chance, one hour in that and your kidneys end up where your ears are you piss blood for a week, the only good thing about zodiac brand ribs is their hypalon rubber, maritime handling is total crap

  • As someone who has actually been on this boat, I can tell you that the shock-mitigating technology, including a fully-integrated shock-absorbing helm is precisely what makes it possible to achieve these speeds without jostling your kidneys or experiencing operator fatigue.

  • @ZodiacBoats I agree... we have a similar set up on our CG25's and they are awesome! Takes a huge impact and delivers a fraction of it to your body.

  • @ZodiacBoats get a real job.

  • @david18861886 I doubt this is their only job, probably some extra marketing and brand awareness by putting videos normally used internally and just for customers and putting them on youtube to show everyone it, think about it, basically no one will buy that rib from watching this video, but it certainly helps raise the zodiac brand for its normal ribs...

  • @mooseling1 point taken. but i wouldn't be too surprised if it turned out to be a major aspect of their job. certainly such a job exists... & fair enough. I guess what I was really feeling was that utube doesn't seem the right place for that format of advertising. An acceptable format would be the one that they already have. I did notice there was no add in that add and that seems to tell the story further. however. i just realized someone has to click on it, so never mind, I was wrong anyway :D

  • @ZodiacBoats so this is ur job?

  • @ZodiacBoats The norwegian Goldfish does 82 knots

  • Type shockwaveseats into the search engine and it will bring up videos that show the latest innovations in shock mitigation technology by our firm Shockwave seats. Vessel operations are not hampered by fatigue and injury. The claim of the bad guy's dont have a chance is valid this boat can really keep the pressure on.

Anyway have a look at the other vids. Any questions/discussions specifically about shock mitigation seating will be answered promptly

  • With the fast development of unmanned patrol vessels (piloted from other boats initially but probably soon totally unmanned, i dont know a lot about this but a friend works on the team for developing it) the vessels will be able to keep the pressure on a lot more, as the vessel capability far exceeds human endurance. Obviously for things such as boarding parties you need people, but soon it could be that you will need to produce shock mitigation for the electronic systems rather than people.

  • @purica Naa its all good, just make sure you have ullman seating ;)

  • @purica If you look closely at the cockpit as the boat moves you will notice that it moves up and down at a slightly different rate than the rest of the craft.

  • The bad guys don't have a chance LOL

  • 60 plus knotts with no self righting capability and a crew with woolen head gear instead of helmets. I,ll stay ashore thanks.

  • hahaha agreed

  • InventedSlayer,

U see how much ppl there are on?

    and they aren't full throttle;).

  • i never saw 3 motors with 300 hp before OMG

  • us coast guard boats have trip 300's now and there boat is like6.5 meters maybe... the zodiac hurricane 733 with twin 150's can match it in speed... go canadian coast guard!

  • 60 knots? my friends Gilbert 24 feet with 450 mercury hp. does 97 knots... -.-

  • like fuck

  • OK thank you

  • vancouver ? ZODIAC is french

  • Zodiac is a multi-national company with factories in France, Canada, Spain, Tunisia, and the U.S.

The MACH2 was built in the Vancouver Hurricane factory.

  • @ZodiacBoats alright

  • @ZodiacBoats just like GM builds car in Ontario but is still a american company

  • ZODIAC最高!!

  • It's "production music" -- music created for and licensed for promotional use, so it doesn't really have a title or artist, sorry.

  • And did a damn nice job, too!

  • where can we find spec's for this boat?
