Thank god Amaral didn't succeed with his book publications in the courts. Serves him right, idiot. He botched the whole investigation up from the start - if he hadn't, perhaps then Madeleine might have been found. He is more culpable for his incompetence than anyone, it was his job to get evidence, which he didn't do, not least for putting immediate border checkpoints. Moronic stupid Idiot.

I hope that Madeleine will one day be found, for the sake of her family. They appear to be good parents who did what many parents in the resort did, went to dinner in the resort restaurant, thinking their children were safe. They have to live with their pain for the rest of their lives, as well as vicious spiteful faceless accusers who are probably dreadful parents themselves, who love to ignore their own faults and loudly demonstrate their own misguided self-righteousness.

and I've heard that the first days of Maddie's disappearance, people from searced the area (praida da luz). how come they didn't find her then? I'm pretty sure they would have found Maddie if she was there!

I don't think they killed her. I mean,if they had killed her, then her body would be somewhere near praia da luz, so they probably wouldn't hire someone to try finding her. The investigators said that they're starting the search for Maddie in Praia da luz. If Kate and Gerry knew Madeleine was there, would they hire someone search praia da luz? NO
