I have been on loads of flights of over 10 hours in my life and I have to tell you I WILL recline my seat all the way if I am on such a long flight. Especially when it is an overnight flight. But on those long flights, they will often have an hour or 5 where they shut all the windows and turn off the lights so people can sleep. In that time it is fine when people recline all the way.
