I have met, and talked to these guys like.. three times. Each time at the Kendallville, Indiana Northern Indiana Bluegrass Association's bluegrass festival. They are very sweet guys, and amazing performers. James is fun to watch, because he makes eye contact, and smiles, plus. Who can forget his dancing. I remember one of the shows, it was on a Sunday. He was dressed in all black except he had bright yellow tennis shoes on. Amazing, that's what they are.

they are very good finally actual musicians! however the guitar player said they were combining a hybrid of music... I would call it a Canadian Old Crowe Medicine Show... good but I'll take the Origianl American version anyday
Nick Piccininnis (banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, dobro, and vocals) came from the Delaney Brothers, Cortland, NY, with whom he played starting at age 17 I believe. He is AMAZING, so talented...a good fit with the Abrams Brother. I hope he gets the credit he deserves. He does it all! I think he is about 19 now?.
Id also like to know who the banjo player is. Hes absolutely incredible with the banjo. I watched the new Viva la Vida video by the Abrams and didnt see much of him in it and thought they may have him listed here. His picking just BLEW me away in the video.
They were on CBC National newscast last night [Friday] and they are amazing. They have great natural talent and no affectations to interfere with the interpretation of their music.
I saw these guys in Syracuse, NY, they opened for enter the haggis. Great band! I from the south, can't stand country, but man these guys sure made me love bluegrass that night ^^
I hope they tour around some more, get a little publicity. Lots of energy and lots of fun - they have a drummer now and their music is a little more mature than this vid, IMO
