@insanitymom actually, normally getting abducted by aliens is a random event in Sims 2 (usually happens if you have them looking into the telescopes too often at night), but in the video I exploited a glitch that enables it to happen at will, so that was a new experience for them.

Currently, I don't really have a computer to play Sims 3 on (I am currently using my dad's computer and he doesn't allow games on it), but when I do get one, I will try it out.

@FourAvocados it can. just get a telescope and 'stargaze' for a very long time eventually you will get abducted and then maybe never your person will come back and have brand new traits and vomit for a long time.

I think that the only way that your sims would be gone for good during the the abduction is that either the game is glitched or if your sim(s) return and their health is too low (such as hunger). Can't help you with that problem, unfortunately

I know a easier way to get capture and it's not a cheat code but 1 you need freetime for the easy way then go on aspration a family thing will be there and press the knowlage stuff then you will see a summon alien thing on telescope only do it at night then your sim will get capture.

If you turn off your sound you might get a better picture. Turn off the plumbbob with this cheat "plumbbobtoggle' and turn off the other icons with 'showHeadlines off ' don't type in the apostrophes. Both cheats should be typed in the cheat box by pressing ctrl + C.

The boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled cheat is very dangerous, please be careful when using in and turn it off when not in use and yes i know its an addictive cheat, but it wrecked my game and computer.

no u dont. all u have to do is enter the boolprop cheat, look through the telescope after the cheat is enterd. hold shift and click on telescope and ull see DEBUG force abduction. Then how ever many sims u want to get abducted u have to do the same thing. 

IT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE CHEAP TELESCOPE U NEED THE EXPENSIVE ONE!!!!!!!

you have to play with a sim in strangetown than you can look at the sky with a telescope that you can buy out of the sims furniture.but that means not that it will happen the first or second time.you must keep trying.

the most easiest way your sims to get abducted is open cheat box by pressing ctrl shift c all together then type in boolProp tesingCheatsEnabled true then click the teleloscope and press shift at the same then click debug then click sim abduction thats it and to get on cinematic go on options click special event camera on

Obviously, one could die at any time in real life obviously (obviously something could always happen that would take our lives in a heartbeat, be it natural disasters like earthquakes or tornadoes, fatal car crashes, encountering a wierdo or terrorist that decides to take your life, etc).
