  • I have 2 hi-points and I love them. I have shot tons of round with them both. Good videos guys.

  • i love my hi point 9 129 bucks came with a case cant beat that

  • I've owned Hi Point firearms, and I have had problems with them but they're good guns if you're on a budget or don't know much about guns. They are 'starter' pistols, not junk....they do work and are extremely durable (maybe not so reliable), but great "house guns". Good vid.

  • from experience they wont blow up, but my hi point 9mm had feeding issues, but shit when you got a lifetime factory warranty what does it matter, came back and fired no problem

  • I don't have a pistol, but my Hi-Point carbine has been flawless through approximately 500 rounds and numerous kinds of ammo. Good job putting the gun snobs in their place. Bersa is another quality inexpensive manufacturer.

  • @pcnightmare52 absolutely, thumbs up

  • Finally bought one brand new out box 100 rounds only 2 FTF that's in break in period. Shoots great very accurate best 160 bucks I ever spent.

  • Lmao he said "then yu don't know shiet" classic

  • If I was on a budget I would at least save up the extra $ and buy a used Ruger. SR if possible, but even used p series pistols 10x better than hi point.

  • Good vid and to all the motherfuckers saying hi points blow up should go put that ammunition used in the hipoint to a glock and watch a glock do the same

  • GLOCK when quality doesnt matter...Damn I figured you GLOCK guys would love this weapon its square too....btw you know what wont jam? A REVOLVER most reliable weapon out there GLOCKS are crap Hi-Points are crap with a kick ass lifetime warrenty that follows the weapon

  • Hi points are disgusting. Please don't buy a hi-point, buy a Glock....Glock is waaay more reliable.

  • Great video perfect example of all the gun snobs

  • @Hottrodpt Thanks a lot! Glad to see you got the point.

  • Blow up in your hand!!! there are 2 (two) videos on youtube of a hi-point ka-boom, one was those pawn shop guys who shoved a bolt and gunpowder into the barrel, locked the slide closed and clamped it in a vice, yup ka-boom, the newest is a fireing pin spring that broke allowing the fireing pin to contact the primer as the gun was put in battery. Compare that to how many glock Ka-booms?? NUFF-SAID.

  • Comment removed

  • hahahaha blowing up in your hand, obviously talking about a glock, not a hi-point

  • Hi points are gay...glocks are way more reliable u pay for thr quality of glocks and sigs...u pay for junk when you buy a hipoint

  • @GIWolfGI

Does your Hi Point have a lot Failure to Feed or other issues?

  • @GunznPoker do u think i have a hi-point from that comment?obviously u dont have a brain...now i know owhy u bought a hi point

  • @GIWolfGI

Actually, the reason why I asked that question Mr. Intelligence is to point out the fact that you do not own one - and since you do not own how are you qualified to speak on their performance? That's like giving someone medical advice because you watch House. SMH, typical simpleton.

  • @GIWolfGI It was a rhetorical question, dumbass.

  • @GIWolfGI i didnt buy a hi-point i have 3 glocks the model 19 model 30 and the model 33

  • @GIWolfGI um...see ultimate test MAN VS HIPOINT... about says it all. Would you put your glock through that kind of test next to my hi point? Put your money where your mouth is.

  • @dfyreman yea i would put my glock through that test any day and it still would come out on top...and glock is way more better for concealment becuz its a smaller frame double stack and still lighter then the hi-point

  • @GIWolfGI concealment and weight?! If those are your only issues then get a .380 or even a .25 and maybe pump some more iron as that mere 38 oz loaded pistol is far to heavy for you to aim (glock 34 oz loaded). The only real difference is the price. Don't assume yours is more deadly than mine because you paid $450.00 more than I paid for mine. BTW, a heavier pistol acquires targets faster. Why not open carry?! That in it's own right would be a deterrent.

  • @dfyreman open carry = c9.....conceleaded = sig p238

  • @Sorionc I can't believe you would open carry a Hi-Point, someone might see you with it :-)

  • @GIWolfGI my hightpoint c9 is more reliable than my g17. never clean the highpoint and carry it in the woods during rain. it has been dropped kicked and covered in mud but i have yet to see a jam or missfire. when i open cary i chose the c9 of the g17 daily. not to mention the no questions asked uncondition lifetime warrenty of highpoint. o yeah and highpoint = made and assembled in america

  • i think someone made this video to defend their bad decision of buying a hi point.

  • @XXDTRXX lol... in that case, you would be wrong. I'm not the type of guy who would feel the need to defend a purchase to my YT peers. But to answer, I believe my Hi Point has a place in my collection, just as my Colt and other weapons.

  • @GunznPoker hi points to me are just car guns leave it in there if it gets stolen no big loss and its there if you need it but i still just cc my glock.

  • My first handgun was a HI-POINT and it is still my carry / work a day gun why? 20,000 rounds and zero trouble. I won't bash other guns because they all have their place in My collection but consider this When the police say drop it and it breaks the HI-POINT is covered no questions asked.

  • @oldgamergeek 20,000 rounds with no trouble, never a fail to feed, fire, eject? you are a lier, just the odds on getting 20,000 rounds of perfect ammo say your lieing, I own 2 hi-points a 380. and a 45. and while I like both I will say that both have had issues that needed correcting, once the guns where brock in they are very reliable, but don't try to bullshit a bullshitter son, and why are the police telling you to drop your gun, WTF did you do???

  • Very awesome...I love my glocks, but I am going to pick up a Hi Point next to add to the collection, very good points made. Most of the people that talk shit about hi points have never shot one.

  • Excellent video. As long as its not a Lorcin.....

  • @iamricreid

    lol!

  • ooh and btw the high point 9mm only costed 150 plus tax.. whoever made this video must have gotten a fuck up gun.. quit hating -.-

  • @krunkmike369

First and foremost.. Hi Points, like any other firearm will fluctuate in price depending on the area... I've seen them as low as $119 and as high as $169.

Second of all... why would you ASSume I got a bad gun? This video isn't bashing Hi Point firearms. Maybe you need to watch it again and try to understand the obvious concept behind it.

  • Iraqveteran8888 has a few great videos of him and his friends trying to ruin a Hi-Point C9. Bore obstructions, truck-smashings, long-distance hurtling, max-load caps/ammo. Eventually they succeeded by making a bore obstruction, filling the whole barrel with gunpowder and cinching the gun to prevent blowback. KA-BOOM!!

Final verdict? A 9mm round just doesn't carry enough firepower to explode a Hi-Point. If it's all you can afford, get one.

  • @jakebreaker

Yeah, I've seen a lot of those vids. Very impressive. Hi Point should give those guys a few bucks for their time and effort.

  • Great video I own two Hi-Point pistols a C9 A JCP both are great guns thanks for the video.

  • @RavenHunter89

No problem... thanks a lot for viewing and commenting, it's appreciated!

  • If your "first gun to learn on and grow with" isn't a .22, you're doing it wrong. Buy an old, overbuilt .22 rifle for <$100. Learn with it, build up proper habits, and save money by shooting .22 instead of 9mm. Then, when you start looking for gun #2, you can look for quality instead of price. Also, three words for getting a high quality pistol at a low price: police trade in.

  • @agadhahab1 Great insight!

Thanks for watching and replying, it's appreciated!

  • @agadhahab1 a high point is more powerful than a .22 and i had 1 (hi point) and shot off 350+ bullets.. and it was still good.. never jammed and of course it never blew up in my face.. this video is dumber than the poop between the butt cheeks of the person who made this stupid ass video..

  • @krunkmike369 The reasons given in the video for owning a hipoint are reasons for owning a .22, which is what I was pointing out. Also, I should point out that while 350+ rounds for a hipoint may be impressive, pistol lifespans are usually measured in the tens of thousands of rounds. Keltec gets shit on constantly for saying not to put more than 6000 rounds through its weapons.

  • @agadhahab1 350+ rounds without ever cleaning it and it never jammed and it hit where I was aiming.. It's more than impressive.

  • If you shoot a Hipoint you might as well shit in your hand.

  • If you have never owned and shot a Hi point shut the frack up. Also if you limp wrist any blow back gun you can have problems.

owner Hi point, XD, winchester, marlin, Mossberg, several military surplus C&R. AK and more. And my Hi point .40 in my HD gun. will be buying more from Hi point.

  • @4302BC

I hear you bro. Unfortunately gun snobs will always be gun snobs. But I'm willing to bet if they had to defend their life and they to choose between a Hi Point and rock they'd all head for the Hi Point...lol.

  • @GunznPoker ,try shooting your hipoint underwater, or try shooting it after submerging it in muddy water. Glock will do these things and press on.

  • @jaredleospirit

Yes it will. It also costs nearly 4X the price so I would expect it to perform far better than a Hi Point. Unfortunately, I think MANY ppl who watch this vid entirely miss the point of it.... which is why I get so many 'Glock does this or Glock does that.' Which is entirely understandable, Glock makes great weapons that serve a purpose. I also believe that Hi Point serve a purpose and a makes a quality weapon for the money.

  • @jaredleospirit not the ones I have seen.

  • @oldgamergeek , glock 17 is the one i was reffering to. other smaller sized or 'higher caliber' glocks are not as reliable.

  • @jaredleospirit how about i just pull it from the holster and shoot the badguy I dont normaly go looking for a bucket of mud to stick my gun in when i'm trying to defend myself or a loved one, so if i jut pull the gun and use it would that be ok with you? by the by how does that $12,000 Korth shoot for you?? Oh you dont own a $12,000 Korth? well then you are one retarded son of a bitch cause you didnt buy the most expensive gun on the planet, so YOUR cheap ass POS glock and you can go pack sand.

  • @420bailey WTF are you talking about Troll? And who said I had most expensive gun on the planet? You need to go back to your pharmacy and get your meds weirdo, and don't address me i wasnt talking to your schizto imaginating ass you pussy doodle.

  • @GunznPoker , in a gun store, there are more options then either a rock, or a hipoint; thats what we like to call, a capitalist selection.

  • These are great guns for the money I have well over 1500 rounds through my C9 I own several higher end handguns as well but ill never sell my HiPoints

  • @cbr6864

Agreed... I've actually thought about picking up a few more just to have for friends and fam who want to to shoot or for/if SHTF.

  • for those of you who think the glock guy is correct i am laughing at you all day long. guns r mechanically operated equipment. all things mechanical will take on wear and eventually have problems or not function as they did when new. proper maintenance will prolong life and useful service. hi points may be cheap and ugly but a gun is a gun.

  • @TheJeffrozz

Agreed, before anything at all... the most important rule for any gunfight is to have a gun. Maintain it and it will go bag every time.

  • I own a hi point and it has never jam. The promble is the ammo . And hi points are great

  • @nopailn2012

Yup, great guns for the money. I also think they're great 'introduction' guns as well.

  • i've own a hand full of Springfield. I've shot glock, sig and hi-points. hi points jam and are poorly put together. it's one thing to want to get into shooting for a low price, but to protect your house home and family with the cheapest thing on the market. you would be better off getting a shotgun than a high point. I would never trust my life with a hi-point. I have seen them in action and they will fail you when you need them the most.

  • @darkcrysis The main problem with HP'S is quality control . If you have one thats problematic all the owner has to do is send it back they will fix it for free . I personally did this with a jamomatic cf380 recently and now that I got it back "fixed" it runs reliably with no problems what so ever . They are cheap but can function flawlessly with a little warranty work.

  • @Proedge352 let me put it this way. A warranty is nice and all, but how long is that going to take. Why not get something that's build correctly the first time? Why not get something that isn't the cheapest thing on the market? Why get a saturday night special? I've have seen a friend, who is fairly poor, but three of them. Guess what, all three of them failed him. I refuse to get a gun that is so hit or miss. You get what you pay for. I won't my household with something so cheap and crappy.

  • @darkcrysis I see what you mean and Having to use the warranty on a brandnew pistol is a confidence killer but have a non working firearm in your home could be much worse . I own many handguns and the cf380 isnt my favorite but after the warranty work it performs plain and simple . I told myself i wasnt going to get the run around with the HP and was ready to smash it or something if I got it back and it had ONE malfunction. 350rnds+ and still not one malfunction .

  • @darkcrysis I have had other problematic firearms aswell though. one being your beloved Springfield which I still own and love but it "had" problems and it was a little more expensive and it took way longer to get fixed . Anything manmade can have problems .

  • @Proedge352

Sounds more like something your doing is making them problematic. I've owned more than 6 spring fields. Seen plenty of them in action and only heard about one issue with one, that only took a week to fix. Hi-points on the other hands are at an astronomical fail percentage considering what they are designed to do.

  • @darkcrysis Something I'm doing? That just showed your mentality . its the only Springfield I own bought it brand new had a few jams and it absolutely would not feed hollowpoints . what could I have done to a brand new xd9 to make it jam on hollow points ? Especially since I have done nothing to it other than clean and oil it just as I have done to all my pistols . After the xd and the cf380 were fixed they have both been problem free so go fuck yourself

  • @Proedge352 You know guns have a break in period right? but clearly you know everything right? i bet your the smartest person who works at your burger king. are you releasing the trigger all the way when it switches from 3lbs of pressure to the 5lbs? Springfield get checked 3 times before they go out, hi points once. do the math. you do know what math is right kid? oh, and do tell me to go fuck myself online if your to much of a coward to do it to my face. it makes you come across like a pussy

  • @darkcrysis After 200 rnds I expected it to be reliable but it still wasnt . As far as burger king goes that was never my job path , I've owned my own Landscaping CO 8 years and I'm 28 now . I apologize but you came at me like I was an idiot and theres no way to break someones jaw over the net so words are all I had . The xd had a defect plain and simple when I got it back from gandermtn they had no info on what had been done to fix it .but now it works great with any ammo aswell as the HP

  • @Proedge352 I've had 4 xd's and haven't had a single issues after putting 1000+ through each of them. i am about to get my second 1911 from Springfield, still 0 problems. I've only heard of one issue other than your from Springfield and it was off one of their custom guns. that being said, one of my best friends bought 3 high points, a 9/ 45/ .380 and all three of them jammed up on him every single time he shot one of them, even after the supposed break in time. he had enough, and melted them.

  • @darkcrysis Melting them down is one option . I value every firearm I own even cheap ones . so melting it would be a waste of money and a firearm . Bottom line is mine works and works very well . Just last night my neighbors pitbulls got into my pig pen and started attacking her. the HP was the closest gun to me when I heard the pig freaking out so I grabbed it and in a pinch it did its job and now those dogs are in a pile awaiting burial with behind the pen . opinions are like assholes anyway

  • The HI point has worked well for me. No problems at all. I watched all the reviews, saw good and bad. I figured I would only know if I actually tried it myself. Never had a problem with it.

  • my first gun was a hi point .45, had it for a couple months, just a starter gun. i put a 150 rounds through my hi point rite out the box and it shot great. as a couple of months went along i put hundreds of rounds though my hi point and it did not jam, or fail to feed, or blow up lol.

  • @RepnKillaCali

which is the outcome of many of Hi Point owners. Truth normally all bests hearsay. What primarily shooting now?

  • @GunznPoker

I carry a glock 27 and hav a glock 23 in my nite stand.

  • huh thought i would look up "handgun kaboom" there where Hi-Ponits Sigs Glocks Springfields (1911s XD and XDMs) FNs (mostly FiveseveNs) Khars Baikals 1911s (all kinds of brands) Bisleys Colts S&Ws (Walther P22) Berettas (PX4 Storm didn't not see any 92s) TAURUS and H&Ks and yes i am not at all surprised about them so basically if you buy any gun it might blow up in your hands they all work the same way with the same ammo

  • @masterofnotmuch

Very true... shame so many ppl buy into name and hype.

Thanks for viewing and commenting, it's appreciated.

  • I own a HP .40 S&W and have put 500 rounds through it. (Video of me shooting it on my channel) I have had ZERO malfuntions since I have bought this gun. Big and ugly? Yes. Trustworthy? I'd say hell yes, especially for the price. Don't be fooled by the high dollar names people. They are nice, and yes I own them, but the Hi Point IS a very good gun.

  • @kgrngr

Very true. If a person is on a budget or just getting into shooting, I always recommend the less expensive firearms.

Thanks for viewing and commenting, it's appreciated!

  • @GunznPoker Awesome point and awesome way of making it. Thank you. :-)

  • this is fucking dumb

  • @fourpointohh

lol ... i'm going to go out on a limb and say you didn't dig the vid?

  • @GunznPoker lol ... i'm going to go out on a limb and say you like guns and poker?

  • how can they compare guns to cars? completely different scenerios and uses. idiots.

  • @jaredleospirit

I think you missed the comparison bud.

  • Google images for "Hi-Point kaboom". Last time I looked, there were 2 or 3 pictures, one of which was re-posted in multiple locations. Now type in "Glock kaboom". Whoa! LOTS of pictures. Hmmmm ... strange. And whenever a new Hi-Point jams, people call it "proof that the gun is cheap junk"; if a new Kimber 1911 jams, it's assumed to be "part of the usual break-in period". Funny when a $120 Hi-Point shoots well outta the box, but a $1,000+ Kimber needs a "break-in period" just to work reliably.

  • @darkwriter77 lol now look at this guy saying "look up hi-point kaboom'' on google images there is pics of hi-points that blow up!!!!! LOL !! lol no there is not I just looked................ there are pics of glocks and sig's that blow up tho hmm i gusse the dum ass guy that type that dose not know what a hi-point looks like lol wow so sad.... lol

  • @dizzyman67 lol... dude, he was saying that to defend Hi Points becuase so many gun snobs bash HP... but if you take the time to do the research you'll see MANY MORE Glocks blown to pieces.

I like how you went hard for Hi Point tho.... that's what's up! I never see anyone do that. I DIG and I BOW!

  • @darkwriter77 Sorry for the late reply.... I agree. So many ppl are quick to bash HP solely on the price. Rarely do you see HP owner say it's a POS and/or it blew up. More ppl need to watch the torture test that have been performed on Hi Points... it's shocking how way the keep on going *BANG* no matter the abuse.

  • @darkwriter77 I think people are just mad that a 160 dollar pistol works really well, and in some cases better than high dollar pistols.

  • hahahahahah that ish was funny.I bought a Hipoint .40 for my first pistol.I watched some guys on here do torcher tests on some Hipoints and the passed with flying colors. They are tanks..Every gun company isnt perfect and will have issues sometimes. The customer service you recieved on your 9 was stupendous homie.cheap and made here in good old USA

  • That was good. Still laughing as I write this....

  • @raimundough lol... glad you enjoyed it. I plan to do more w/ these guys when I get the time to write it up. Thanks for viewing and replying, it's appreciated!

  • i don't care what any one says, if you buy a high point your penis will fall off

  • @BALJIT147 lmao... gotta strongly disagree w/ you there bud. I have two of 'em and the wood is still intact. But I can understand why ppl aren't interested in them, I just don't understand why ppl don't see that they (like all firearms) have their place. Id rather see a law abiding citizen with a Hi Point to protect themselves than a bat or God forbid, nothing at all.

  • @GunznPoker i see what you are saying but there are some other firearms that are almost as cheap that look WAY better

  • @BALJIT147 lol... you definitely have a point there. The Hi Points are certainly not the best looking pistols created.

  • man you cant trust what you hear, only what you see......has a high point blown up? maybe, but I have actually had a glock blow in my hand. does that mean glock is a pile of crap? absoloutly not just means i hade a bad experience with one out of millions of glocks. i am sure almost every brand of gun has had a massive falure more than one time. and for 150 bucks why bitch about it? good vid man and these guys are funny as hell....the sheep thing was pretty good to.

  • @mattc1683

Exactly my point bro. I think the lower-end firearms serve multiple and great purposes. But you can't tell that to the Gun Snobs because of course, they know best....lol.

I actually had a whole lil story-line mapped out for these two dudes but for the life of me I can't find the outline I wrote up. Oh well, another story will come to me.

Thanks for viewing and replying bro, it's greatly appreciated!

  • Great video... All I see are people putting down hi-point. What do you expect from a $150 gun?? It's not gunna be a glock or a s&w or barretta, it's only $150. Great gun to learn with and have as a first own. Props on the video!!

  • @anyswonger2010

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Every time I hear someone bash a Hi Point then turn right around and praise Glock, Sig or even Kimber, I'm like ... WTF? How does that even compare. That's like lining a Ford Escort up against a Lamborghini and bragging 'cause the Lambo won as if the Escort didn't do exactly what is was designed to start ... get you from point a - b.

Thx for viewing and commenting, it's appreciated!

  • Haha

    "You dont know Sheep"

  • @FireArmsResQ

lol... u caught that huh? I'm semi-working on my nxt one. I plan to have some fun with these guys.

  • @GunznPoker

Yeah thats my favorite part and the fact that these gangbangers are talking about buying guns and not stealing them and talking like a bunch of nerds. Lots of nice touches!

  • HAhaha

Kind of like when people on youtube say Camaros suck because it isn't as fast as a Veyron =P
