Yeah, I noticed that about Dawn too. Lots of people refer to her as she quietly works behind the servery, she ungags Di Barker who was huddled in the cupboard. An early Tina type charactor without words.

Why did Carol Byatt only appear in this episode and was never mentioned or seen again? She just seemed to dissapear and why was Dawn never credited?

According to the story, Carol was sent to another prison so she wouldn't sue Larkhall for negligence. Dawn is an "Extra" or what the Soaps call an "Under Five" which means that she gets "less" than Five Lines.

i thought s o too jbond - the more i got sucked into it, the more i realise that the prison systems do no accompliush what it sets out to do - these girls have been abused and have lived horribl lives - and i gets worse when they are in prison when they are subjectto getting beaten up and are prey for ppl like fenner
