@dudah I would never claim (or even try!) to out-Bobby The Great McFerrin. I have worked with many members of his Voicestra over the years and still hope to work with him directly someday. I was just saying, in all honesty, that I'd love to see him do something with more instrumental imitation like this.
As noted in an earlier comment on this video, this song is credited to McFerrin on my 1st CD and I paid my royalties and everything. Nothing but Love!

It's not exactly a cover, but it is credited as written by (McFerrin/Rogers) on my first CD.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Singers sing other people's stuff all the time. Most singers aren't songwriters, in fact. Songs get remade. Etc.
