The significance of this song is far greater than just a simple Christmas melody.When I first heard it,I thought to myself,wow sounds kinda evil,sounds war like,sounds far more powerful than a simple Holiday song.Sarajevo is where an assasination happened that sparked WW1.1914.

@wellshii - you know that this was not originally written anywhere near Sarajevo, don't you? It is a very old carol called Ukrainian Bell Carol or Carol of the Bells and it is an old Ukrainian chant. TSO only added about 10 seconds of God rest ye old merry gentlemen at the beginning and decided to rename the whole thing. I really don't think that adding 10 seconds of another song should be reason enough to rename it - just confusing

How do I know you didn't just take individual shots of each light configuration and synchronize them in post-production?

Because of the car? It drives by during the light show without being cut out. Plus this kind of thing is a lot simpler than you might think.

You can nonetheless film the car driving by, and splice it in with all the other filmed shots, by layering it. I'm not saying that its fake, but its still possible.

"Individual shots" does not refer to still camera but a motion camera. It's not hard to do what I just described, and the fact that there is a car is irrelevant

Since the lights are off some of the time, the power usage will go down compared to all on all the time.

You need lots of lights, extension cords and some PLC equipment. Try checking out Animated Lighting, or Light-O-Rama. You should consider shooting for next year since it takes a long time to create the programs.

I am working on a new version this year. The show you see uses about 10,000 lights. the new version may be near 20,000 (LED).
