I used the link on the info box and downloaded the latest update.. to upgrade my ipod touch and you did not even have to do the whole.. holding menu button and sleep...thing all i did was the last part Shift Restore and it upgraded on its own... at first it wouldnt recognize itunes but you just have to close it and open it up again... and done (only.. it does wipe the ipod clean)

i click install appsnapp but the internet doesnt do anything,

the top bar doesnt load, and nothing happens.

like you had to wait 5 seconds or so,

my just doesnt do anything, & then it freezes my ipod

and if your download takes like over 15 mins for the 1.1.1 firmware restart the download it goes faster( that usually happens whenyou first try to download it)

omg finally found out how to download the link. you have to get an account for the website first, then enter in a 3 letter code and press continue. after that, save it to your desktop or somewhere where you will find it after you press shift+ restore.
