@craigsblackie any time a hand goes through glass there is always a rigged table. That's why he polishes the table, so the observers can't see the glass move. I think there are multiple layers of glass in this table because note that the teapot doesn't move. It is an exceptional trick

I can't explain the hand through table-thing. That one is amazing.
But it's obvious he's using some kind of double-coin, that looks like two coins, but will flip together to form one coin when he hits the table. You can see it when he places the coins on the table at 2:57
@sgtsolidus as he is polishing the glass, either he or a confederate sitting behind is sliding the glass table top around. There is a small cut out large enough to stick is arm into, but small enough to cover with his left arm and hand. The cut out is hidden by his left hand as it moves around before and after he pulls his hand out. The camera angles help too. I suspect one or more people sitting behind him are in on it. Still a nice illusion, it was fun to watch.
At 3:12, the 2 coins on the right seem to be stuck together and he obviously has a coin in his left hand, but i still don't see how even if the 2 supposedly stuck together coins joined, the one coin didn't double in size.
3:14 thats good - my best guess is that one of the two coins on the right is a shell and goes on top of the other coin and he that one of his rings is a magnet/ or when hit the coins merge as one and he has one of the coins in his hand :D But this is only my guess!
@antniemi when you see him setting the coins up at 2:59, the two on the right are one piece. You can see he moves the farthest right coin and the middle coin moves with it. When he bumps the table, they snap together.
the table is circular the glass clear as he puts his left hand down towards the glass he slides that section round with the other hand whilst concealing the hole
At 3:00 the 2 coins to the right are some kind of 'trick' coin that must slide over each other and look like 1 coin (you can see the right coin is thicker at the end). The coin that 'falls through the table' is already in his hand and when he bashes the table it causes the trick coin to retract and look like 1 coin and he shows the 3rd coin under the glass
At 4:41 you can see his left hand just fine but then the camera zooms in and his hand is out of focus. Next time you see it, it is on the table and does not move until he slides it over very carefully. I don't know what he could have in that hand that could let his other hand go through that table but whatever it is, the secret is in the left hand
Clearly he is great at misdirection. He does a great job, with a little camera angle help. Custom nesting coins are used to perfection. To answer the question about people around the table, guy in the middle on the back his helping slide glass with the last trick. one big circle of plexiglass with a hole...usually hiding under tea cup to right is spun under left hand. at 6:17 you can see the hole rotate back under tea cup... watch shadow move by his forearm. Again...VERY NICELY DONE!

nice tricks though I was able to crack it while watching it (SPOILER)...Notice 2 coins never leave each others side. This is due to the fact that they are one. this helps in creating the trick of only ONE coin passing through the glass. Now the hand trick, notice the camera always angles in a way that we can't see the glass before he passes it in and out. thats cuz the glass slides to a new one,notice his left hand slip after his right hand comes out...still nice trick ;)

Oh that mystery man right behind him! look at 4:43 under chair mystery man's hand is moving glass top making the hole move from position cup to his left hand, 5:23 his moving glass top himself, at 6:17 his left hand moves sideways coz mystery man is moving the glass top, 6:21 mystery man appears arms put down! So funny all the participants playing well in this choreographed shooting even the tv host! Anyway it's for our entertainment, we shouldn't be trying to find out how it's working out. lol

nice tricks though I was able to crack it while watching it (SPOILER)...Notice 2 coins never leave each others side. This is due to the fact that they are one. this helps in creating the trick of only ONE coin passing through the glass. Now the hand trick, notice the camera always angles in a way that we can't see the glass before he passes it in and out. thats cuz the glass slides to a new one,notice his left hand slip after his right hand comes out...still nice trick ;)

lol no offense but thats really simple! theres two layers of the glass and one layer has a whole in the middle where he can put his hands and the coins through and he can move it (turn the table so to speak) to adjust the whole u can hear the glass isnt really stable when they tap it!

Every single magic trick ever performed is "fake". The POINT of magic is that it's "fake", the thing with magic is to do something odd and have people not understand how the hell you did it. That's the "magic" of it.

When ever magicians like this perform their magic on TV geniuses like you seem to think they figure out what they do. I think the people who set up the stage, the table etc knows what really happened like on this year's Australia's Got Talent Grand Final. LOL

What? I don't have a single clue what the hell he's doing and stuff like this amazes me every single time, but in all reality the point of magic is to fool people. Only them and the prep people know what's actually going on and we're just standing there baffled at their wits. I love magic, especially these new magicians, really pushing it forward, like Cyril Takayama. I'd love to see their magic in real life.
