  • *sigh* I thought I was an INFP, now I'm back to INFJ or INTP, oh gosh i give up.

  • Who's the INFP at 4:47?

  • It's refreshing to listen to your Te. It would take me ten times as long to express what you've said; I'm always fumbling and re-evaluating, searching and formulating the next phrase. Very informative and enlightening.

  • @xaosects Hey, glad it was helpful.

  • Amazing vid. Gj!!!

  • Love this video! I have searched for this "hot avocado" video of the INFJ girl, but have had no luck finding it. Can anyone help me out with that who might have a link?

  • esfp = more likely to be slut. yes, no? hey btw, how many of you commenters are in the fb groups?

  • I took a mmdi test at the Teamtechnology website and I think it was pretty accurate. However, I cannot tell whether I am INFJ or INFP. This is what the test said: "The MMDI thinks your personality is closest to INFJ, and 2nd closest to INFP." I've been digging into this recently, and I seem to exhibit traits from both personalities. Is there a way tell tell if I am fully one or the other?

  • question can you be both and infp and an infj?

  • @jzf07 You get confused from internet tests, I recommend you look up the functions for both of them and see which you prefer most (usually one tends to lean towards one kind of function). I have a problem myself deciding and I thought of myself being an ISTJ, but then came to the sudden realization that I have to be an INFJ. (big leap) - read the functions.

  • @jzf07 I change alot as a person, I did a test and it told me I was an INTJ, ofc I looked up the functions and everything seemed to make sense - maybe my other functions are yet to show? I'm an IN that's for sure LOL. Wait for Dave's site, hope things will clear out when I can study all the functions.

  • @jzf07 no.

  • interesting... I'm INFJ, and I'm pretty disorganized and hate memorizing facts and sports, but otherwise it's pretty solid. As an addition to INFJs somewhat underpar speaking skills, I think it's worth noting their above average writing skills.

  • What is the best resource for learning myer briggs?

  • What's the difference between "seeing future trends" of Ni and "seeing possibilities/patterns" of Ne? If you see patterns and possibilities, isn't that seeing future trends?

  • As an INFP, I have two INFJ friends to whom I'm close. I know quite a bit about MBTI, and this video helps to understand the *motives* behind some of their behaviors... especially the whole "they don't hate you; they're just listening" thing.. I'll be talking to them and get like an awkward silence, and they will be like, staring at their hands and thinking for a few seconds, whereas when I have a conversation with them, I feel the need to assure them I'm listening every few seconds.

  • @Zypakoi Hey, that's a great example of how the functions in those two types interplay!

  • Hmmm, Lady GaGa is a hard one to pin down. I always saw her as someone with ISFP preferences, with Ni as a tertiary process. As for Derren Brown, I'm pretty certain that he has ENTP preferences. Just thought I'd throw in my own two cents on the subject. :)

  • Best video I've seen on this!

  • Very Informative!! Thanks for sharing!

  • Wow, awesome! Very informative! That really cleared it up for me and was entertaining :)

  • I can absolutely imagine Lady Gaga's an INFP. I'm INFP, and I see a lot of similarities. Sometimes I think that the INFPs mostly represented online are the really shy ones. (Don't know if "shy" the right word, but...)

  • he makes the infj look very superior here i mean comparing darren brown and lady gaga come on.....

  • Comment removed

  • I agree that Gaga is likely an intuitive type... watch her interviews and read the articles she's written. I wouldn't doubt that she's INFP.

    Wonderful video, by the way.

  • Bunk.

  • "Lady Gaga, example, INFP-" No, no, no no no no no NO. I can tell you right now she isn't an INFP. At all. She's an ESFP. Look deeper before making such creepy assumptions.

  • @MidnightFlower13 Sigh... Hey, whatever you "feel".

  • @DaveSuperPowers

I thought it was really funny that you saying Lady Gaga is an INFP is apparently "creepy". Haha

  • Is it me or do the temperament percentages keep changing from video to video?

  • @Standuble Its you. Just generalities to give the basic idea. Play along.

  • Another small note, you seem to have changed the descriptive word for some of the types. INFJ here is referred to as the "Ultimate Mentalist" (not a bad term), but in later videos its listed as the "Consular/Mystic" which is also appropriate. Where are you getting these descriptors from, and do you have a preference of any kind on them?

  • I'm an INFJ (can you tell by my name?), and I have so far loved all your videos, including your video going over machetes.

Personally I would love to see you make a video in which you specifically focus on identifying an individual's type based on external observation. You've already told us about the difference in eye movement for sensor's and intuitive's, and you've touched on the difference in speech between an extroverted thinker and an introverted thinker, but im sure you can tell us more.

  • infp girl here :D yay!!! yipeeee :D

  • Great Video!! <3 U!! :P

  • @cnancydrewk Hey cool. Thanks!

  • I agree that lady gaga is ISFP.

Her music is better than her lyrics, and she is creative in a much more physical way.

(The clothes/music) She is much more of an artist. A lot of her lyrics are total Se...

idk to me she clearly has Se/Ni.

  • So... Contrary to popular opinion (again) Audrey Hepburn is an INFJ then (not INFP). She's an NF and introverted (INFX). Her communication style has Fe and Ti in them (INFJ). Watch the few interviews there are on Youtube and you can see it.

  • Thank you for the video. I'm an INFP and this really cleared a lot up for me.

  • I have a question, though I do not exactly know how to phrase it. As an infj my strongest function is Ni and my weakest is Se. Now, if I want to be more well rounded, should I not only develop my Se and Ti but my Ne, Fi, Te, and Se. Is that also possible? If it is possible, it is it helpful--to develop not just weaker functions but the weaker orientations (extra/introverted) of each?

  • INFP - WE ARE THE 1%

  • but. guess what jerk! 2:29

    hahaha

  • I'm not feelin' it with your description of Fe, honestly. The whole "performs feelings based on social roles" gives me more of a feel of how Fe works with ISFJ/ESFJ types, but not so much INFJ, ENFJ types, as they are more likely to be trend-breakers who try to change social roles to improve them, rather than just performing based on them. I would use wording more along the lines of "awareness of social roles" as a more basic focus to Fe.

  • man Dave, thanks so much for these videos! not only are they very informative, but you answered two peoples types i was wondering so much about recently, Mike Rowe and Seth Myers. your vids i find are more helpful l than anything else out there keep up the good work man, thanks.

  • there's no way Lady Gaga is INFP. No one that extroverted and outspoken could possibly be INFP.

  • @vintagerosenz i was thinking the same thing... i am an infp and i would have never in a million years thought someone like lady gaga could be an infp...maybe i am wrong but it just doesn't feel right that she would be an infp...but i did love this video...i learned a lot from this video :-)

  • @INFPvlog thank you for not attacking me about it. She could be, it's just the whole 'meat dress' thing and how outspoken and confident she is, it just doesn't seem very INFP-ish to me that's all. To me, an INFP being very open and expressive and also game enough to wear a meat dress doesn't make sense to me :(

  • @vintagerosenz I totally agree with you :-) i am an infp and i know all infp's are not exact clones of each other but she feels like my complete opposite...i am just not feeling her as an infp at all...

  • Hey, Lady Gaga Isn't INFP

    She's more ISFP

  • @ghoxman1 Nice opinion, you have any research for that?

  • @DaveSuperPowers You are sensitive to criticism. That is not a customer service attitude for a person selling a service. You should learn to rephrase your comments, or you should leave their statements as is. You look insecure when you give tit for tat.

  • @ghoxman1 I agree with INFP

  • Lady gaga can't be infp...seriously.

  • I'm an INFJ, and I can say you're spot on with everything.

  • Hi, I'm an INFP girl, your videos are by far the best mbti explanations i've found online. Could you please do a Fi vs Ti, value vs principle video and explain them with a few examples? Thanks

  • @DaveSuperPowers

Hi. Like the video. I keep reading about these shadow processes that can be attributed to each personality type eg. for myself (an INFJ) they would apparently be Ne, Fi, Te, Se. Wondered if you had any thoughts or comments or could perhaps do a video on the topic, is it true, if so how do these shadow processes manifest in each type and why, and can they be developed to become positive instead just negative, yada yada. Ok thanks. And keep posting videos, they're fascinating.

  • @MrInvictus7 Thats a good one. I'd like to do some on the shadow functions... in the middle of studying more about them right now.

  • @DaveSuperPowers

Hey, I'm an INFJ. I'm curious what you think about ESTJs.

    I'm pretty sure that they're the "Anti-INFJ"s.

From the one particular ESTJ I know, I've come to the conclusion that they HAVE NO EMPATHY!!! (Empathy being the core of an INFJ).

    What's your take?

(Let's just say that when I survived "Gone With the Wind" and found out that Scarlett O'Hara was ESTJ, I laughed my head off at how true it was.)

  • What if I have a strong Fi, Ni, Fe and Ne (almost same strength)?...also Ti > Te and Si>Se :P? It is really difficult to tell which one it is, even by functions because I can relate about the same to both INFJ and INFP functions.

  • @INFJman Hey thanks! I do work full time from the internet, so yes, this stuff is very tied to what I do for a living.

  • Who are the two guys at 4:48?

  • ENFP here. I find that when I watch vloggers on YouTube, it's sometimes hard to tell if they use Te or Ti. If they're talking at a really fast pace like Phillip DeFranco or Vlogbrothers, they seem like Extrovert thinkers, but then you have to keep in mind that they edit their videos, so they may be editing out their pause-and-think process so that the video flows better. What do you think?

  • @ThePersevest

I would not listen to Soviet Union. In Soviet Union, internet surfs you!

  • These videos are very insightful! The comparisons definitely help with learning the cognitive functions. Just reading them down a list for me doesn't do it.

I consider myself INFP. After seeing this video, I've realized that I've recently been working on trying to be more like an INFJ without really knowing it.

I've been trying to be more expressive with my emotions and sensing, and more disciplined, organized and detail orientated with my thinking and intuition.

  • How about an infp vs. isfp comparison? im stuck b/t those two...

  • @RangerZo90 Hey! We have lots of videos coming out, hope to get to that one.

  • @DaveSuperPowers That would be awesome, thanks

  • Hey, could you please do a video on infp vs isfp?

  • @SunburntElidhu Hey there! That's a good idea, hope we can do that in the future.

  • This is so interesting. I am an INFP and never understood the functions. This really helped me understand my personality better.

  • @pianofaye123 Hey, Glad this was helpful!

  • Where do you recommend we go to learn the functions?

  • @mysticbrightshadow Hey! We will have more resources coming out at the beginning of the year dealing with the functions.

  • I think Lady gaga is ISFP or INFJ

  • @Lxtllz

    No.

    No, no, no...

I'm an INFJ, and can tell you now that Gaga is not.

Her lyrics and "music" really have shallow meanings. (That's just my opinion...)

Amy Lee (Evanescence) is an INFJ.

BIG difference. Tuns of deep emotional meaning. So, yeah, I would have thought Gaga to be ISFP.

  • @27DJMA her huge fashion aspect is pretty S, yeah.

  • @wasp2020

    "Her fashion"...

    Or lack there-of...

    :)

  • That Introverted Thinking part is so true, (me being an INFJ).

When I'm in large social groups of people I don't know - as an example, recently, my Sister's friends at the fair and their friends - I go into sponge mode and I go into "T" mode and I get very quiet and just listen to all the different conversations, followed by getting strangely poetic... (Don't ask)

Another interesting thing about INFJs is that when I'm in a SMALL group of friends, you can't tell me apart from an Extrovert.

  • If its alright...

Could u please explain why INFPs are generally considered as "TRAINWRECKS"?

I never thought of myself as one...but when i look at myself with a general perspective, it certainly feels true... I ve always been happy and satisfied, never done anything to offend anyone..Just searching for something without being sure of what it actually is or if it even exists.. :(..:) ..but theres always been this feeling of being incomplete or dissatisfied...it truly hurts but i dont know y?

  • (I know you're asking the guy in the video, but, what-the-hey, I'll give it a shot)

I wouldn't say they're THAT bad... But they tend to be very wistful and visionary; the ultimate "Daydreamers" in a kind of Lennon way. (IDK if he's actually INFP).

Thus leaving you with big dreams and little means...

Low practicality in your expectations. And that can translate into getting something halfway through, but be unable to complete it to YOUR OWN expectations.

    IDK if that answers anything

  • what if introvert but pace the floor ??

  • I am very confused about my personality type. I got INTP the first time. But it didn't seem quite right. I got INFP quite a few times as well. But it still didn't seem quite right either. I would say that yes, I am under stress and it could bring out the negative side of my shadow personality ESFJ.The "I" and the "N" seem to remain constant, but the last two change. Can please do a video comparing INFP and INTP, and maybe talk a bit about INFJ as compared to those two as well? Thank you!

  • Oh by the way I wanted to add:

I dont always see imaginative as being tied into creativity, I know that they often work together, but someone can have a very clear and vivid imagination and yet not be particularly creative.

  • @Andyp12

I think you're getting them a little mixed up.

When somebody thinks of "creativity" they think of art, music and composure.

Think of imagination as the creative composure of your mind.

  • @sasuke2277 Not at all, that was basically what I was saying. Imagination can have the same practical application as conventional creativity, as well as being a creative process in and of itself.

But to me it is yet another subject on which to dwell with insecurity. Frankly I dont like the functions of the INFP. As far as im concerned I would be quite happy to not be an INFP atall, but unfortunately I cannot lie to myself, dominant Fi is an arse though, its like an internal gun shooting you.

  • Incredibly informative, thanks.

I regularly get INFP on tests and unfortunately I can relate greatly to many descriptions, but as you said in this video, going on these site's one after another, with their stereotypical and 'surface brushing' descriptions isnt helpful, nor useful.

Also my understanding of the functions is very limited so ive probably been mistyping myself more because of this.

  • I think Lady Gaga is an ENFP personally.

  • Awesome. thehotavacado is one of my buddies and helped solidify my understanding that I'm an INFJ. I have a brother who is INFP and it is so interesting how when we talk about people or our ideals we really resonate; but when we talk about plans or goals we are worlds apart. He doesn't really stick to a plan, his goals change frequently. I think one of my # 1 struggles is finding a way to balance my pull to champion causes I believe in with my desire to devote myself to my family! Thanks!

  • Thanks for this, really interesting to watch. any chance you could explain the differences between ENFP and ENFJ? I assume it's fairly similar to INFJ v INFP.

also what does it mean to be on the fence? for example I'm definitely NF, but I'm borderline with E/I and P/J

  • @fingersonthefrets Yeah, you're not borderline, you just got to study the functions more and it jumps out.

  • a lot of times too you'll see people that pace or move around on their one. a lot of these are the extravert thinkers. he body has to be moving. the mouth has to be moving.

i'm infp. all my best ideas develop on long walks, or talking (with my hands) in a small group. when it comes to sitting down alone to develop and write thoughts hough, i tend to blank until i can start moving again. ultimately, nothing gets down.

    any advice?

  • @surgerryy Move to think, thats what I do. Google "kenistenic learning" as well. (spelling is off there)

  • I have A.D.D. and Asperger's Disorder so does this whole Myerrs Brigg thing even work with me? Am I still classified or?

  • @GJliz Of course hommie. From what I've noticed and experienced its often related to too much iNtuition. You might be an overdeveloped ENTP or INTJ or something. It today's tech boom people with your underdevelopment in one area like that are in huge demand. "Normal people" produce normal results, and no one needs that these days.

Focus on your strengths and obsessions. Become an authority in what you love and your "disorder" can be a super power, just like others have done with theirs.

  • @DaveSuperPowers * overdevelopment in one area

  • @GJliz

Weigh them in. If there is a contradiction in one field vs another, you should take the one that isn't probably caused by your adhd or aspergers.

  • Listening to this I can only believe that I would have kind of Ni, Fi, Ti and Si, but that wouldn't be really possible by this model, would it.

  • Nice!!!

  • Can you do ENFJ and INFP? :)

  • @IamTewahdo Oh wow, thats a good one. Noted.

  • @DaveSuperPowers thanks! :)

  • @DaveSuperPowers - I disagree. Watch a Lady Gaga interview. She doesn't have a lead Fi. I personally suspect ESFP or ENFP. We ENFPs are the champions, motivators, which fits her well. She campaigns for bullied kids. That's total ENFP behavior.

However I wonder about ESFP because I don't quite see the deepness in her caring that NFs posess. (I am an ENFP, btw).

  • I STILL can't figure out which one I am after watching this. Can't I be a balance of both?

  • @GJliz It'll come to you. When i first found out about the MBTI in a human resources lecture i thought i was an ISTJ then i searched the internet about it and took a few of the dodgy free tests and realised that i was nuts to think i was an S and kept coming up as INTJ so i thought i was THAT for a few months, but then when I learned MORE about it, learned the sort of behaviours that goes along with the functions etc. I realised that- and I can say this time as a fact- that i'm an INTP.

  • * I meant to say he was more astonished that he knew that I knew what was going on, not surprised (in the literal sense).

  • My father is an INFJ, and I an INFP, and everything you described (differences, similarities) was spot on. When I later explained all of this to my dad, he like you said, became quieter and quieter; which before I would have mistakenly interpreted as not-listening. When I explained to him, that what he was doing was introverted thinking (organising all the information I had thrown at him, in mental-flow charts) he was surprised. But being an INFJ, nothing I told him surprised him.Truly cathartic

  • hi my name is platho and i hd been saving money for an airplane for years but one day my brother got blood canser and but you might thing this is funny but can you buy or make me an cheap airplane

  • this is brilliant make more videos!!

  • Hey thanks a lot this was really helpful b/c I was confused about it.

Quick question if you have the time: Would an INFJ or an INFP be better at telling someone what that person doesn't want to hear?

From your video I get the idea that an INFP would be better at doing this b/c, even though he has more emphasis on feeling, he doesn't extravert it. What do you think?

    Thanks

  • Thank God that you made this video. I was so confused what type of personality I was. Now I know. Thank you so much!! ^_^

  • Good job man. Keep it up!

  • Hey, I hate to be that guy, but at 2:46, you spelled "report" wrong, shouldn't it be "rapport?"

Anyway, I really like your videos. As an INTP, I was always confused on whether I was an INFJ (due to similar functions), or possibly an INFP, because I am usually not as "cold" as the NT's reputation is perceived, but this video really got me to understand the differences more carefully. Thanks and keep them coming.

  • Just saw your video on Gates being an INTP. Great eye opener!

  • Bill gates INTP? I always thought ENTJ.

  • Now that I think about it, you're probably correct about Lady Gaga's introversion, but I bet she's ISFP and not INFP

  • ISTP video please

  • Great Video..I'm a INFP and I'm watching all these people makes videos, which is helpful.Thank you,you other peeps.LOL.I like people who just spell it out.I effen laughed though out your video. The other peeps where making me cry.Brilliant Job.

And,I watched your survival one too..cracked me up..LOL..as I love to hike..Live in Yosemite which is on fire right now..Hey,thanks for the great information and a great laugh..He's cute girls..Kristi Marie

  • Great videos, so useful for distinguishing the functions, which all gets a bit confusing without these being shown in their priorities...makes all the difference, would love to see even more!

  • I'm an ENTP, and I'm just writing all this stuff down. Some of the stuff you say is gold so I'm pausing and rewinding so I can write it all down. Could you provide us where you got all the written stuff like the powerpoint looking things. I would love to print those out and just tape them to my wall and stuff. Great vids BTW please post more.

  • @epnrroz Hey thanks. We will have a website next year that will have these kind of resources available. Working on it now.

  • @DaveSuperPowers Well that's good. I really look forward to your stuff, and I plan on buying that book you recommended in one of your video's. I forgot which video, but I bookmarked the link. I look forward to more stuff... next year LOL. I'll try to keep my ENTP shocking comments to a minimum... if I can.

  • @DaveSuperPowers Sweet!

  • you're amazing!!! thank you so much! fabulous.

  • Best explanation I've seen or read thus far! Perfecto!

  • I also like how more males view this in each age group than women. Lol. On top of that, Male INFJs are more rare than women INFJs, so this is an interesting statistic. :)

  • Loved this video. Thank you so much for this. :) It makes so much sense and I love how while describing INFJ vs INFP I can really see and understand better how and why I truly am INFJ. :)

  • please don't compare us to lady gaga ugh but you had to use somebody

  • lol, bean counters for SJs? anyways, I'm definitely INFJ

  • ESTP video please

  • @34cmurda Agreed! Haha.

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO ISFJ AND ISFP PLEASEEEEEEEEE

  • @ranoosha1210 Oh wow! What a HUGE difference between those 2 right there. One of the most easy going types vs one of the most drama oriented types. THAT would be a good show. Do hope to do a video on that in the future.

  • I'd also like to add (I, E) change how the information is delivered too. Which is why so many confuse E for being outgoing. It also plays a role in flip flopping how the information is accessed and utilized. Think of it as (I) is produced internally, in which case (S,N) is utilization and (T,F) is accessing. (IS) and (EN) would seem to be out going people. Yet two different people (IS)fp = Ben Stein (EN)tj = Dana White.

  • Why S, F and P slow the information? Its because they all categorizing, instead of cross reference the information. (I,E) how information is perceived, (S, N) how it is accessed, (T,F) how it is utilized and (J, P) how it is stored. The make up of the brain would be SFP more electrical (Neurons) and NTJ more chemical. SFP cant back up the information but has longevity, where NTJ backs up the information yet has more chance to stall.

  • Comment removed

  • Think of it as N is a fast interpretation of all the information coming in and S is slow. F slows the information where T just keeps it moving. J categorizes the information while P just stores it willy nilly. Whether your I or E just means where its best to get that information from. NFJ or NTJ categorizes so quickly I or E don't matter as much as it would with an SFP, they need the information coming in just right, I or E not both."Can you explain that again?" Not dumb they need it just right.

  • On the chart extroverted and introverted Thinking the INFJ is both??!!

It says TPs & FJs = Ti but also NJs & SPs = Te

I'm know, it's meant TJs & SPs are extroverted thinkers but right now it's misleading. Considering fixing it?

Anyway video was good as always!! :-)

  • This is excellent. I totally agree that it is much better to understand the actual functions and look for these when figuring out someone else's type. Your explanations are great. They specify the differences very well. Also I just find it amusing how you ramble your thoughts out loud exactly like I do (another INTJ!!!)

  • awesome video!! thanks, wouild love to see more of these comparison type vids.

  • Best MBTI vid so far me thinks.

  • Thank You David Powers. You are my hero.

  • Thanks Dave!!!

  • Have you read Lenore Thomson's "Personality Type?" She describes the 4 "crow's nest" functions which are in between the top 2 and bottom 2 functions in development hierarchy. They're whatever functions the main 4 weren't. She's the only one I've seen talk about this concept and I'm wondering if you've taken it into account when studying functions.

  • Great video!! Did you actually read that Lady Gaga was an INFP from a credible site? I think she's probably the best modern day example for how Ne is expressed for an XNFP, though I keep personally debating if she's ENFP or INFP. Now, for an INFP where you can really see their Fi expressed, I'd say Princess Diana is a great example.

  • Thanks for the video. Helped me understand more about my functions as an INTP :)

  • Thank you so much for this video! I have spent hours going from site to site not getting anywhere with their superficial bullshit that gets repeated everywhere! I actually had to spend some time analyzing the functions to then find a connection between the functions and the 4 letters presented with every type. I had to teach myself most of the crap from what was posted on the web. This video just made my life so much easier! thanks :D

  • @Hoobes1 Perfect man, thanks! Thats exactly the need we are trying to fill here. Glad it was so helpful.

  • Can the INFJ some how usurp the creative-dreamer title as well? Although, being the ultimate mentalist ain't bad. :) thanks again for the vid. (stretch your Fe and answer the rest of my questions :D)

  • great!.....when's the course going to be available? interestingly both the INFxs in the clips look like me (INFP) are there common physical features for INFs?

  • @dfarmercse Oh hey Dave. Cool you and your wife are the same type. Yes, do plan to do some videos on the ISTJ when we start doing these videos more in the months to come.

  • I like how you explained that it's Te that causes pacing on the phone. I was wondering about this the other day.

  • Enjoyed the video! (um ... Lady gaga is one of those creative infj's)

  • @thehotavocado OK ... so, even tho I'm not going to bet my life on it or anything, here is what I am thinking: I re-watched the interview gaga did with Ellen (seen it?) & (to me) she seems like INFJ still. I think you see her displaying Fi (but I think her face is being more composed for the interview b/c she is "on". I do not see her display Te, I think she says "um" too much, but perhaps it is Te. The big reason is: She interrupts Ellen with unrelated topics a lot (something I do A LOT). so

  • @thehotavocado Trust me, I spent a couple years studying her and lady gaga is for sure INFP.

  • @thehotavocado I think it may be difficult to place her is because she is an Introvert playing an Extrovert (think David Bowie, same type). look up the Ellen clip titled "Lady Gaga's Personal Struggle" -I know INFJs have some of that imaginative creativity but we live in fantasy about 90% of the time.... ergo, the dreamer. :)

  • @thehotavocado when people do the “um” thing… that is a dead give away for Ti. They are going INSIDE their brain to access information YES… but hey guess what I say um a lot too and I’m definitely a Te but I think the N… the intuition side also effects that... As well as her introvert side.

  • She interrupts Ellen to talk about how she felt Ellen was showing her up. It was SO infj of her. Like she tuned out and stopped paying attention to the current conversation. Then when she throws her hat at the end of the interview (with the cake there) she is again acting just like ... well, me. INFJ. In her own world, not paying attention to Ellen. Interrupting. And I think Lady Gaga has a lot of inspiration from her crew in terms of dress. And she doesn't have THAT many songs. so...

  • @thehotavocado And remember, with MB you can't look at "performance" (especially with a celerity) you have to research and look for "preference". Meaning what is originally CHARGING and DRAINING someone. And when you see alot of the behind the scenes stuff of GaGa, get more into her background and such, see what part her team does, what part she does, her true 4 functions and 4 shadow functions emerge clearly with no contradiction.

  • @DaveSuperPowers yes, of course (looking at preference, etc). perhaps you have studied her MUCH more than I have :D ... um... creepy? Lol hehe

  • Also, question: If Ti likes step-by-step things... Why do I LOATH step-by-step things. Ugh. I was under the impression that was actually Si. My INFP mom is much, much better at step-by-step, detailed things (i.e. needle point, etc.) And INFJ's interrupt mid-sentence a lot as well. Probably more than the INFP's I am associated with.

  • @thehotavocado oh goodness.... i don't know anymore! i watched a few more interviews of gaga and now its all just melting together. perhaps she is INFP. whatev. BUT... did you give any thought to Hitler being an introvert? as opposed to an entj? History books and ppl who were personal contacts of his report him being quite reclusive and usually very much lost in thought, staring at a wall, in his head. Thoughts?
