I appreciate what Zack's doing on YouTube. He's making very good points as to the reality of our situation and the hippocracies of our actions. I see two paths to walk at the same time. The first path is our personal change from an unsustainable lifestyle to a sustainable one which can accomplished quicker than the second path. A path fostering the shift of the dominate culture from the culture of maximum harm to many cultures of no harm. A vote for Obama helps both paths in different ways.
But, The presidency is not the only thing we need. What's more helpful is new cultral models, new memes, new ideas, and the end of hierarchy. A president is by it's very nature a position in hierarchy, hence it is ultimatly working against a truley just and sustainable culture. The best thing a president could do is make his position obsolete.
