  • Jimmy Stewart was one of the greatest actors ever, I miss him so much.

  • I enjoyed your wonderful video!

    --------Ellen

  • JAMES STUART É CONSIDERADO O MELHOR ATOR DE TODOS OS TEMPOS. É UM CLÁSSICO! EXCELENTE ATOR, EXCELENTE SER HUMANO!

  • it is mentioned in his autobiography that he did not go to any acting school and won an oscar. that is so admirable!

he had a degree in architecture from princeton university but chosed to be an actor.

his wartime record was nothing short of spectacular.

he did not have plastic surgery to alter his looks compared to the other famous actors of his time who did like fonda, cooper, gable..

he stayed married and loved the same woman to his dying day.

james stewart was admirable in every way!

  • thank you for this video! we love james stewart to this day.

  • Thanks for the tribute. Lovely actor and man in person.

  • I'm madly in love with Jimmy Stewart.

  • @nexttimewelove51 That's nice, but you should move to the back of the line because I'm in love with him too. lol!!

  • @nexttimewelove51 I feel the same way..I'm deeply in love with Jimmy too, he's was such a wonderful actor and human being: honest, kind, sweet, gentle, decent. And he played his roles with so much passion! Makes me sad he's gone..

  • luv u jimmy

u will always b my fav actor

  • If you are ever in the Pittsburgh Pa area, go see the Jimmy Stewart museum in his hometown of Indiana Pa. Well worth the trip, lots of memorablia to see.

  • James Maitland Stewart is my one and only favorite actor. Loved every film he was in. Miss him so much.

  • James Stewart is my second favorite actor ever. He has done so many various roles and executed them all perfectly!

  • When I was growing up, I used to wonder who the endearing old man with the classic "good-grand-daddy" voice was. Well, I found out it was Jimmy Stewart, and at that particular time I had NO Godly idea of how great he was. Over the years, with the help of television replays of course I learned, and I'd like to thank you, TOO, basilnelson, for helping me not to forget to keep in mind the feelings I gained from those first realizations, with a treasure as beautiful as what you present here (smile).

  • Thank you so very much for spending the time and effort to put that together Dano

  • One of my ALL TIME favorite movies is "The Glenn Miller Story" he did such a superb job, and "the Rear Window" was intense.

  • A Young and slender actor that had a style

and voice pattern all his own, he presented

a every day wordly type of man. Kind and understanding with that gentle and caring quality. Even into his later years his trade mark remained with him in his vast portrayls of characters in film.Yes he had a charm and witty side about him too. Sadly missed but never forgotten.

    Out standing Tribute

    Pierre

  • Soft spoken, extremely polite and shy with a very recognizable drawl in his voice, Jimmy starred in many films widely considered classics. Comedies, westerns, biographies, thrillers and family films. Won the Best Actor Award in 1940. Stewart held the highest active military rank of any actor in history.

Thank you Baz for this tribute to James Stewart who is considered one of the finest actors of the "Golden Age of Hollywood"

    Fondly, Hedda.
