Well, here in Olympia Washington there are alot of homeless kids, but no 9 year olds, the youngest kid out there is 13. Most are 15 to18, they refer to them as the homeless youth. their lives aren't all that bad, everyone gives them money.

Right now I am walking from Tampa to Tallahassee to bring awareness to National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. Which is November. I just finished the 1st 11 miles of a 250 mile walk. I have a Hurricane Katrina Holiday park next for the kids still living in FEMA trailers in LA and a Holiday party for foster kids in St Pete. That is it for now but I have a new idea I want to work on.

I have made and donated of 700 backpacks with food, personal hygiene kits, 1st aid, new socks, and other stuff. I have had an event for 2 years to encourage other kids to help called 24 hours. Watch the video on it. I also help the Katrina victims, and kids in title 1 schools and this November I am doing a walk 150 miles in 23 days 11 miles a day to raise awareness and money for homeless kids. This November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month.

It is statistics. All organizations that work with homeless kids have them. So if you take the national statistics that state 30 to 40 percent of kids are gay, bi, questioning or transgender and apply that to the fact that 13 kids die everyday the average would be about 2 of those kids that die are gay, ?,bi, transgender.
