Hah! I see lots of "likes", and a couple of dislikes-- anybody that could dislike such a flawless performer is a loser incapable of handling change, even when it's totally positive-- EVs are the future-- clean, quiet, ultra-simple. No  maintenance, no foreign oil dependence-- put some solar panels on the roof of your house and run your car on nothing but electrons. This car will out-accelerate anything powered by an ICE. This is what I want.

@billdale1 I believe you are not completely informed in your happy embrace of the electric cars. You see, before oill, there was hemp oil (No you can't get high from it, yet it's banned). Now when you grow hemp, it actually nutrients the soil, and makes it better if you want to switch to corn next year for example (corn drains soil of nutrients badly). Hemp fuels burn cleanly, and don't require a rebuild of all the distribution network in the world. That would be a solution.

@billdale1 Now to the electric car. Naturally it is great and clean and cheap(ish) to run, but not at this point. Batteries are rubbish (your laptop, cellphone, anything... batteries are either dead or dying, aren't they?). We will not have a good electric car until a much more advanced batteries are created, right now they weight too much, take long to charge and run out quickly. I am afraid that by the time they get good, hydrogen cars will take off, which also are emission free...

I bought an SLS for my dad's 60th birthday and what an epic machine. I will definatly put down a deposit fr an electric SLS because it does not look like a hideous and shameless plasiticy snot boxes like most electric cars are, which are driven by morons who say "Im protecting Mother Earth" and all that shit! THOSE FUCKING THINGS GOT LEAD ACID BATTERIES AND A WORST SAFETY STANDARD THAN A SOVIET CHEMICAL FACTORY!

@fatasdat a lot of the higher end electric cars can go hundreds of miles between charges! I forget the car, but one of them goes like 550 miles on one charge but it was over 500,000 high end car
