@TheMurguel Totally agree. I heard we lose one tone every ten years we grow old. Well, it's 26 years from the movie to the year of this vid... so, two tones and a hald he wouldn't be physically able to hold... anyways, it's a great song and he still has it! Love him.

Il mio personalissimo ricordo del 18/9/2009, quando fu trasmessa questa puntata de I Migliori Anni: stavo malissimo, ma all'improvviso appena è comparso Michael Sembello mi è passato il mal di pancia! :) E poi ha cantato anche Human Nature come omaggio a MJ ed io allora non sapevo che 4 mesi dopo avrei debuttato come cantante proprio con Human Nature!! E' stato troppo un segno del destino! =)

That's why this singer from FlashDance didn't go anywhere with one hit song "maniac" there shoudl be more theatrical and passion in performing the song. The singing is the best like Michael Jackson or someone else.

@bonitaxoxo007 I wouldn't say that. Michael Sembello led a full career as a top-notch session man and producer BEFORE AND AFTER he did this song. The year after this song came out, he was producing big hits for New Edition. Besides, for the longest the general public didn't actually know what the guy looked like. I could be wrong, but I think it was ever his intention to be a big solo superstar. The Flashdance soundtrack took off, and so did he. Right place, right time.
