I really liked the game! Since development it was never intended to be survival horror (neither was RE4 well the released version that is) it had brilliant action, outstanding graphics, good controls, an engaging story, it's great to see the relationship between Sheva and Chris evolve, seeing old friends... and enemy's although the AI is dumb the atmosphere is dull and WHERE THE FUCK IS THE MERCHANT!

I used to play this game on my brothers Xbox 360 years back when it came out. They enjoyed RE4 so the got RE5. To be honest I enjoyed RE5 more than RE4...Anyways I was able to beat the game and start a new file. But then......The Game went missing. My Brothers now keep the Xbox to themselves and the game is gone. That is until about 2 or 3 days ago I bought RE5 "Gold Edition" for the PS3. . My PS3 isn't with me right now but i still cant wait 2 play it :D

Good review, although I really did think the co-op was pretty good, especially next to many games that also have co-op AI. I found Sheva didn't get into trouble, waste health items and give me unnecessary ammo nearly as much as you said she does. Still, solid review for a good/great game!

@Yuriofwind Oh,dude!You said everything!You said everything I was thinking about RE5,looks like Resident Evil is changing a lot,RE5 is a good game?Yes it is,but it's moving away from the original concept.Now we have Resident Evil:Revelations from the Nintendo 3DS that is comming back with the survival horror a little.And Operation Raccoon City,well,the game is good,but is a SHOOTER in the third person,NOT survival horror like RE1 and 2.Capcom screwed with us...phew!

I played the entire game and I was a bit disappointed, I wanted a slower game with more mystery, problem solving, Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 were great, I mean some of my favorite games, and i've played ALOT of games. They did the same thing to this that they did to Metal Gear 4, too much action! I liked the originals so much more!

@GManPerfected See for me it was the opposite. While I loved those original games, over the years I've gotten sick of that style. So RE4 and 5 just appealed to me so much more, and for me revived my love for the franchise. I understand where you're coming from though.

I wanted to ask yuri, do you have a ps3 or are you just an xbox loyalist? Also I loved your previous opening to videos like the one you had in the FF13 review, as it was more clear and tune was pretty catchy lol , can we expect a return to that format or are you sticking to the new design?

@k444mbr I'm a loyalist to no system, or company for that matter. I go where there's games I want to play. This gen I really do prefer the 360 and Wii over the PS3 though, last gen I preferred the PS2 over everything.

As for my old intro, I will not be returning to that. The song used in that, while catchy, doesn't belong to me. In fact I'll have to eventually delete all the videos that use that song for that reason.

Cover system vs zombies? No, I like the feeling of being overwhelmed. I kind of get the not being able to move while shooting too. Personally I'd like some dynamic knifing because when your not infinite ammo going and you run dry you can just sit in a corner slashing for hours...
