You could tell he first off had 2 kings. He started with this order. King, Nine, King. He did a double lift, then placed top card. Then did another double lift and then did what he did. IF you don't get what i said. Sorry. did this explanation in a rush x)

Double flip it's obvious if you're holding the deck like that and flipping the cards like you did.

Look. The preparation that you do is to have 2 nine of spades and a king of diamonds. Take 1 of the nines and put it on top of the deck. Then take the the king and put it on top of the nine. Then your last card will be the 2nd nine which you put on top the last. This trick mostly involves double lifting the whole time. First you double lift and show the king and flip it down and take it and put it on the table. Then double life again and show the nine. And do the same thing. Then you switch them

Let me try. Lol, it's easy. The setup is king on top, 9 under it, and then identical king third from top. He double lifts (picks up 2 cards as one) so it shows the 9. He replaces the 2 back on the deck and then takes the real top card (the king) and puts it on the table. Then he double lifts again to show the duplicate king. He then replaces the 2 on the deck and then takes the real top card (the nine). Then a little flourish and Ta Da!! Magic
