The way I see it.. Carry a weapon and you’re a legitimate target. Finishing off the wounded.. I have a problem with that as the threat has been destroyed. Attacking the mini van who’s only intention was to collect the wounded is like attacking an ambulance. .. We are now talking about war criminal behaviour. Our founding fathers believed in independence for our security, not global socialism. Not mutual foreign dependence. The show in Iraq was not a war, it was a nation building project packaged as something else, hyndsight is 20/20. Because there was a long conversation that took place befor the shooting started because they did spot the guns. I think in the full clip there was about a 4-5 minutes observation and circling. Pretty sure the attacks were made on the grounds of actual financial and vocal support of anti-west forces, as well as vocalized threats from Saddam and his intent to use chemical or/and biological weapons on Western Forces. That alone is enough grounds in the international community to attack another nation. As for killing anyone that stood in our way, that's warfare. @TheArmydude050290 The de baathification and the disbandment of the Iraqi military and police services is what caused the bulk of the Iraqi resistance. Do not condemn the Iraqis when it was your own government that escalated the situation.

@grimblebrumble17889 No doubt, a decent amount of the resistance did come from the FEW of the military and police that stuck around. However, most of the forces fought after the first six months were insurgents, basic facts kid. And the escalation came, not from my government, but from Saddam's increasing PUBLIC threats against the West as a whole, nevermind the financial ties with Taliban party leaders in Afghanistan and Iraq itself. Learn up, then come talk to me about facts kid.

The rest of the coalition begged the Americans not to do it. And as for the Taliban and AQ no links have ever been found, proven and assesed between Iraq and Osama. So what are you talking about. The escalation in violence lies at the feet of America and its bumbling and incompetence in maintaining peace in Iraq.
