i do like the chorus in this. but it just sounds like they never rehearsed it and as if they were just making it up on hte spot. it sounds much better the second time round. i have to say, this does actually sound better than the updated one.

I believe the lyrics in the prechorus (as in this recording) are "with the power of the Almighty Lord" - I find it interesting that this was changed to "with the power of the Almighty sword".
Yeah - some may say I am a weird sort, but I am a Christian that loves speed guitar! I believe the song story line originally came from Revelations. I have been playing for years and believe Malmsteen is King at speed guitar due to his impossible ultra-clean licks but Sam Totman and Herman Li have an unbeatable style in their own right.

In the newer version, they replace the squealy helium chorus with a new one. I used to prefer the original but ater listening to them both for a while it's pretty obvious the second one is superior. This one does have a calmer tone to it, though, and I like that.

yeah interesting is a good word. The alternative chorus isn't better or worse it's just different. It's nice to hear differnt stuff, maybe its just me. I can't get enough. Can't wait for the new album!
I think they cut out that extra part of the chorus because it was so crazy high, he struggles with it even back then when his voice could go very high very easily.
