imam ali (as) was present in fatima (as) house, he had a noose tied around his neck and was being led off by the lead of umar and abu bakr (la).
now you may ask why he didnt just push them aside because he is much more powerful. The rasool (pbuh) told ali, to be patient. because if he had taken action, islam would have fallen apart at that instant.
