I'm a huge Wings fan, and I was not happy at all when they signed Hasek again. Hasek has been better then I expected this season, but I still never liked him much. I miss Manny.

I couldn't agree more! I can't stand fair weather fans. Hasek is one of the best, but just like any other human, he has good days as well as bad. That's the nature of life as well as the nature of the game. Red Wings, baby!!

I agree darkhawk, Hasek is a bad decision. With a little fine tuning Manny Legace would have been just fine. Hasek's performance last night was like watching a monkey make love to a football.

Picking up Hasek again was probably the worst decision detroit has made this year. I didn't even like him when he played for us in 01-02. I can respect what hes done in the past but he sucks now, all he does is flop around on the ice like a dying fish and just hopes he gets lucky and they dont shoot up high on him. Not the 1st time he's been pulled while playing for detroit, i was at the game in 02 when they pulled him against st. louis. Think he let in 4 goals in the 1st period.

The GAA can be attributed to our outstanding defense and overall having control of the puck much more than the opposition. Just compare his Shots against average to every other goalie in the upper GAA bracket.

Goalies can only make saves on shots they face. Not on blocked shots or posts. He has done that. You didn't like him in '02? Did they not win the Cup? Am I missing something? He is one of the best to ever play the game, period. How many Vezina's? League MVP's? Wins? Stanley Cup? Gold medal? Google him and find out how much he sucks!

Im not dissing what hes done in the past. I can respect him for what hes accomplished he will go down as one of the best but right now he is past his prime. Even in 02 i wasnt impressed with him, he was good in the playoffs obviously and won us the cup but regular season he was subpar at best. I dont miss many games and i've seen him play a lot in detroit and i just cant stand watching him flop around on his back or stomach while the goals just keep comming in up high he's just real sloppy.
