A Higher Place is amazing. The drums got even better (even though that seems impossible), guitar got better, and vocals got way better in every way. Not hardly any standout keyboard riffs though unfortunately. Most people complain about it, but musically, it beats the shit out of TNR. I used to listen A7X and Atreyu a few years ago, which is why I like AHP so much. It manages to be melodic in a way that isnt gay sounding like A7X and Atreyu, and they got even more brutal and technical.

You have a bit of a point, and BTBAM is a perfect example of great musicality. They can do anything they want and still make it flow and sound VERY professional, while playing odd time signatures with unbelievably technical drumming. BOO seems to be behind BTBAM a little. I admit, the chorus in this song is pretty generic, but they're like 20? give em time and they might blow up as big as lamb of god did, but hopefully they'll sound more like BTBAM than LOG .
