The first few seconds of this before the fade in to the sequencer section sound very similar to the opening track of the Tangerine Dream album Force Majeure which was released around the same time, mmm coincidence or did they work together more that we think in the late 70's, long after he left TD.

Still great track :-) though 5 *****

Klaus mentioned this in the booklet of his album "X". "Body Love" is the 7th album of Klaus Schulze released in 1977.

@pagetournee Body Love 2 actually had little to do with the original soundtrack. The liner notes in one of Schulze's La Vie Electronique CDs says that the record company he was with wanted something like the very popular Body Love I album, so they did a remix of one of Body Love I's songs and then Schulze recorded all new tracks for it. But it was really a marketing thing...albeit a good one.

I bought this album when it first came out. I couldn't get enough of it - I was 20 years old. Led Zeppilin was one thing ... but Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream were laying out the foundations of music that we now call New Age and Ambient.

The title "X" as I recall was Schulze's tenth album ... and yes, those were REAL drums playing in this track. Thanks for the memories and posting this tune!

Mein Gott, ist das geil !!!! Schulze ist wirklich einer der ganz großen Künstler für mich und das Gewissen des elektronisch-experimentellen Krautrocks. Er ist sich immer treu geblieben, fantastisch.
